    coffee. creamer. sandwich bread. mayo. chips. corned beef. tofu. popcorn. pasta. cheese. ham. chicken. peanut butter. jam. white sugar. protein bars. soda.

    sadly, this is my kitchen. I went off the deep end when ds went into the hospital last month. I have been full blown binging for 4 weeks and have gained FIFTEEN lbs.   2. ~Day 5~

    Ok, it's time to stop messing around. I now can see that fruit is wildly wonderful, but for ME I'd better be careful about the sugary ones and not go overboard or I'll be hungry a whole lot more. Today I added some avocado in and I am satiated much longer. I think I am back on track...funny saying that only 5 days in!

    My GAStro issues have also settled down. Wonder if it was mixing the nuts with veggies, cuz I ran out of the mock ranch dressing...LOL I guess I'll find out ...

  3. Adding protein

    Yesterday I bought some vegetable protein powders. I brought Nutriva Hemp protein and Alive Ultra Shake (rice and pea protein). I figured this was better than using the whey protein powder that I still have on the shelf. I was down another 1/2 pound this morning to 174. My waist was 37.125.

  4. Maca, Maca Macoooooo

    So, I purchased some Maca last night at the HFS. Only one type on the shelf so I am hoping that it is raw and the right stuff.

    Made a chocolate raw food powder and Maca powder and almond mylk shake for my afternoon break. From what I hear it will make me perk up and be full of energy for the rest of the day. I look forward to the feeling.

    Had to break down and get some veggie iron supplements yesterday. Can not keep my hemoglobin above 8, even with green smoothies.

  5. Irritatted but It's all good...

    So last night at 3:00 in the morning, someone thought it would be fun to set off the fire alarm. Needless to say it was not fun getting up, getting dressed, etc. and finding out it was a false alarm. Then trying to get back to sleep while the technicians take an hour to turn the whole thing off.

    However, despite this night of teribble sleep, things are great! I made my caroube mousse pie and it is...good. I do really like it, however I think next time I will do half of each caroube ...
