  1. Day two

    I changed the main meal last night to raw chow mein, using courgette (zuchini) and carrot noodles. It was fantastic :)

    No hunger pangs.

    This morning I have a ton of facial zits/spots/pimples, horrible! I made a facepack of oatmeal and cucumber to help sooth it all.

    My nose is running, so I expect detox has started. I am feeling very quiet today. Not sluggish, but that internal quiet which you find when you meditate.

  2. I'm a bit obsessive compulsive

    Now when I eat SAD (yes I cheat) it makes me want to throw up. It's disgusting. Almost the same thing happens when I eat conventional raw, which disturbs me because I can't afford to go 100% organic. And even then, when I go organic, I can't help but feel that it's been grown in nutrient deficient soil and isn't as good as wild vegetables.

    I'm growing more pathetic. My goal right now is to eat 100% raw and drink pure water. Now which filter am I going to buy for that?

  3. 5/15/08 ~ Day 27 ~ Energy ~

    Day 27 ~

    I feel like I have a ton of energy today!

    I had a raw protein shake for breakfast, an Acai smoothie for lunch with a banana & about 10 golden incan berries (a weird tart flavor - yet slightly addicting...)

    I am going to make some walnut taco meat right now & some more of the rich cheddar dip - combine them with 2 avocados & some tomatos - yummo!

  4. Discomfort again :(

    So i felt absolutely amazing this morning... and then everything went worse- and i noticed that it happened after dried figs ( i had a Lot i admit) and most importantly- Odwalla smoothie...right away, my stomach got weird...started "bubbling" or whatever and became an inflated baloon... maaaaaan this sucks! after that i kept eating here and there and WHILE I ALREADY feel like a pregnant monster (sorry lol i don't know why i have such a description) i feel like eating even more because ...
