by on 07-31-2011 at 09:28 PM (My Wonderfully Raw Journey)
So today i had my first wheat grass shot. Let me start of by saying i was starving at the time and really wanted food but my friend was getting her food first as i didn't want a Belgian waffle w/ strawberries and whipped cream(she asked me like 10x) lol and i decided i was gonna faint if i didn't get something into my system. Luckily there was a juice bar and i saw they had the wheat grass shot $2.25 for a single..UGH! expensive!! But i really wanted to taste so i bought one and was amazed at the ...

  2. Gunfire .... oh no, actually fireworks.

by on 07-31-2011 at 03:39 PM (Georgina's Raw Journey)
I wish they just had the pretty ones and maybe some of the louder ones as in the decibel level they were when I was a child. I don't understand the need for fireworks that can be heard 6 miles away ... especially when it's all going off halfway down the street.

Have fireworks; pretty ones with only a little bit of bang. War is all too real these days without having overtones of it in the street.

  3. What I Learned Today!

by on 07-30-2011 at 08:51 PM (My Wonderfully Raw Journey)
I got a book from the library called Raw Controversies and it's by Frederic Patenaude and i've been to his website before when i was dabbling in the world of fruitarian. So far it's pretty good. But i was reading something where he stated all the different types of raw food lifestyles and there were things i never heard of like sunfoodist, breatharians, and paleo! Now i was confused when i saw paleo cause i could've ...

  4. Raw, Vegan Crab Pate!

by on 07-30-2011 at 12:11 PM (Georgina's Raw Journey)
I just made some when I was thinking to make nut pate! It came out crab-tasting.

It is the same consistency and pretty much the same flavour as a crab pate made from the brown meat.
    • 3/4 - pint to 1 pint of nuts - I used walnuts, cashews and sunflower seeds with a small amount of pumpkin seeds for good measure
    • 1 red pepper
    • 3-4 soaked sundried tomatoes
    • juice of two lemons, zest of one.
    • soak water from sun dried tomatoes which has been building up in the fridge this past week!
    • small

  5. Play time ... the weekend is MINE!

by on 07-30-2011 at 06:37 AM (Georgina's Raw Journey)
Today and Sunday I want to make Poi. I have the wherewithal and will possibly do that today.

I also want to cover one of my hoops with fabric ... I have the materials for that too.

Various bits of functionality need fitting to my bike - strangely, fixing the brakes doesn't seem a priority!

Then I want to make a piece of luggage that will fit on the pannier frame I bought. I am NOT paying the whopping price the bike shops charge.

    I also want to ...
