  2. self awareness

    I had the best yoga class this morning! I really pushed myself to hold the poses longer than I thought I could. It's cool to surprise yourself by reaching new levels!

    Our instructor set our intention for the day as "self awareness." She made one comment that really hit home for me - it was something like "a lot of times we hear our intuition but we don't listen to it and we choose to ignore it." It was basically along the same lines of what I posted in my blog ...

  3. Day 114

    I can't lie, this morning I found it SO difficult to get motivated to exercise. I really wanted to strap on my sneakers and go walking but the fact is, I just have too much to do around the house. Instead, I ended up killing two birds with one stone... exercising while watching DVR'd shows. It's not the end of the world but I'm SO. OVER. tv lately. DH takes it so personally though if I don't watch certain shows. That's a whole 'nother blog post that I have rolling around in my head though. ...

  4. It has been a long time

    So, I didn't go back to 100% raw back then, and here I am now, heavier, with more problems, and ready to start eating 100% raw - now.
    Tomorrow will be my first day of posting here and I will post my food/exercise every day. I don't use the computer at home, as I have a very active 2 yr old and like to spend my time at home with her. :)
    This is going to be my space to be accountable and to succeed in my 30 day challenge.

  5. Smoothie Day 7

    That is it for me. :) For a day or two, anyway. Looking forward to relaxing the rules a bit today. It was great. I feel relaxed and balanced. I'm going to continue with a mostly Green Smoothie diet, but add in a few other items. A daily fat for sure; coconut, avocado, or olive oil. And a green powder mixed with water. Hard core, but it adds a much needed (I feel) boost of protein and calcium. I've also been concerned about a lack of B vitamins on this smoothie fast. Adding a daily dose ...
