  1. Day 10 of 30 @ 177.5 Part 2

    Ok so I have been thinking about that scale all day. So here's what I have decided to do. I'm gonna weigh myself ONE last time tomorrow and then I'm going to put the scale away in my car and won't get back on it until my last day...the big 3-0. If it's in my car I won't have easy access to it first thing in the morning when I get out the shower. Ok so tune in tomorrow for my last weigh-in blog :)

  2. Day 7 100% raw

    Today I craved raw sunflower seeds. I seemed to not get enough of them. I really need to gain some control with the nuts and seeds. I'm holding on to 152lbs . I'm going to do juice for a day or two to see if it gets me back on track. My feet were a little swollen today also. I wonder if my body is reacting to eating again after the Master Cleanse. I am still determined to be 100% raw no matter what. I'm going for the goal.:)

  3. Raw for 5

    Had a strange experiance today. A really dear friend said "we'd invite you for dinner next week, but you only eat raw food and we don't have anything to feed you." You certainly get some odd reactions when you start out on this journey. I guess I remember similar reactions when I became Vegetarian, once people understand, they are lots more able to cope with different lifestyle choices.

    I can't believe day 10 is almost over!

    Today's foods:

    -2 pears
    -handfull of blueberries
    -smoothie: chard, banana, 4 strawberries, flax seed
    -sunflower seeds
    -5 figs
    -smoothie: dandelion greens, banana
    -carrots
    -cucumber
    -grapes


    Earlier thise week i had a smoothie with dandelion greens and it was amazingly tasty! Todays, however, was so bitter and not very enjoyable. I used ...

  5. day 7 - Things change when you decide to.

    It was interesting that yesterdays' rant about perfection seemed to solidify my decision to go raw, and also to improve other areas of my life (thanks Elizabeth and Snownoir!!) Hubby has very impressed with the stuffed portabella, and kept asking how did I get it to taste soo fresh? he is also interested in seeing how the sprouts I started (alfalfa, clover, broccoli) are doing.
