  1. Starting over

    So..I know I said that I'd be posting more pics this weekend...and I had planned on a pic of my face..to show how much it has cleared up..but I'm going to wait one more week...Becuz I'm committing to one week 100% raw..and of course I will post every day since I will most likely need the support...I know a wk. is nowhere near 30 days..but I'm gonna start small then go from there..until now if u have been reading I was doing well for like 3 days then I just kinda slowly went back to my bad habits...so ...

  2. Day 4 Continued

    Ok, real quick here...what did I eat the rest of the day?

    I tried making three nut/seed recipes I found! That was a BLAST! I soaked almonds over night and soaked a mix of sunflower and pumpkin seeds for a couple of hours. Then I made sweetened almond cream, almond hummus and sunflower/pumpkin seed pate.

    Lunch -

    A few broccoli florets and red bell pepper slices dipped in the almond hummus. I thawed out some frozen berry mix to try the sweetened almond ...

  3. day...um, what day is it....

    Wow,

    It's been soo long since I've had a chance to journal. I've been staying completely raw, though I am drinking red and white teas. I love them.

    Okay, let me count, today is day 23 I believe.....nice. I was definately hungry a lot last week, and, since I hadn't had time to prepare many recipes, I relied on those raw larabars, too much. Kept me from losing any more weight. So, I stopped those on Friday, and I've lost another pound or so.

  5. Day 20 - going away for a few days

    I will be away from my computer for a few days. This will be my first "raw" trip and we are taking a few things for the road. We will have a Whole Food about two blocks from the hotel and a few "healthy" and vegetarian restaurants in walking distance. It shouldn't be that bad. I will just miss having my blender so I will have to make sure to eat a lot of greens; plus it will be hot so water will be very important. Cheers!
