  1. Glad Mother's Day is over

    Mother's day has always been a bittersweet time of year for me. First starting with my strong desire to be a mother and not being successful with that, then the loss of my sweet baby boy through stillbirth almost two and a half years ago. Thankfully, I'm not a TV person so I'm not really bombarded by Mother’s Day advertisements and whatnot, but reading magazines, newspapers, online news, etc is still very difficult.

  2. Day 2

    Started today feeling determined to succeed. It's all in the positive attitude I'm sure.

    Breakfast - wheatgrass then green smoothie - kale, spinach, apple and banana. Very thick and creamy. Made enough for later. Yummmmmm
    Lunch - mixed salad with sweet n sour sauce
    Tea - planning to have mexicala salad wraps

    Feeling quite good at the mo, but it always helps when the sun is shining!:)
    Have fridge stocked with lots of yummy fruit n veg - very colourful ...

  3. where has May gone?

    It's already halfway through the month???? I am happy to report although I did not complete the 100% raw challenge that I am still doing a good job with doing "mostly" raw. I am glad that I am still incorporating salads and fruits and veggies into my daily diet because I do feel so much better. Instead of going wild with beef and chicken (since I have decided to not do 100% raw), for meat I am opting for wild-caught salmon and tuna, which I break up and put into my everyday ...

  4. Night before...

    well it's mother's day, the night before i plan on starting the raw diet...course i need to transition, cause i'm nursing...so my plan for this next week is to add some things: 32 oz. green smoothie, carrot/spinach juice, and fruit for dinner...so that means my lunch will stay the same. Oh also, only fruit/veggies for snacks. We'll see how it goes!

  5. Day 7: I"m Proud of MEEEEE!!!

    Hi everyone!!!

    Guess what! I went to Canada and back and I STAYED RAW 100%!!!!!! I AM SOOOOO PROUD OF ME I COULD CRY!!! Here's the menu I took with me:

    2 Bananas
    Raw Almond Butter
    Organic Raw Honey
    7-8 Flax Crackers
    A deluxe Salid from my Kitchen
    1 lime
    Walnut pate
    3 Oranges
    Watermelon Slices


    On the airplane I fixed Flax Crackers with Almond Butter and Honey for the rest of the Crew and they LOVED ...
