  1. Fat

    I've been doing some research about fats and how much is too much for me, because I'm beginning to suspect that I'm having too much and this may be why I'm getting awful bloated and feeling uncomfortably full with just a bit of stuff, which usually happens when the fat comes in through seeds and nuts.

    My normal cooked diet was mostly heavy on carbs, not fat, so there's a big change here when I'm getting most of my 'full' from nuts and seeds.

  2. The beginning

    I am not sure if anyone will ever read this, but I need to be honest with myself first of all. So, here goes!

    About a month ago, I felt very nauseous and threw up. I thought it was just the beginning of a stomach bug and thought nothing of it. After a week of nausea, vomiting and loose stools I went to urgent care. They did a pregnancy test (negative) and a whole panel of blood work. Everything came back normal. They sent me to see a gastroenterologist. She ordered stool samples ...

    it's so hard for me to write this blog tonite.
    woke up in a craaaappy mood. real poor self esteem issues going on...
    then i made myself snap out of it,

  4. Day 6 ~ 9/14/07

    Not too much new going on here!

    It's cold outside and I'm having a glass of tea to warm myself up (that makes me 99.9999999.....% raw)

    I'm feeling kinda fat today - so I avoided the scale as long as possible.....then I stepped on...... .....yup it was up, but you know what???? - that's O.K. - because I know I'm doing the right thing and finally following my hunger and letting my body tell me what it wants. ;)

  5. It's been a while...

    Sorry I haven't posted recently. I've been extremely busy with school. So busy that I didn't even celebrate my one month of raw. Oops! Today is day #34. I can't believe I haven't eaten fish or chicken in over a month. I really miss it. Not all that fried, crappy stuff, but just a nice piece of grilled salmon filet or chicken breast--with a nice peach salsa or strawberry avocado salsa--I was quite the experimenter in the kitchen this summer. I miss cooking. A lot.
