    Breakfast: half an avocado, spinach and apple smoothie.

    Lunch; sleep! I slept most of this day, I was quite tired! But I got up feeling pretty good, not weak or lethargic like the day before after that cuccumber smoothie.

    Dinner, spinach and apple smoothie. Took a bold step and added a green cabbage leaf, not loving the bite!

  3. Day 8 ~ 9/16/07

    Ok, ok - it's really day "9", a REALLY early day 9 - but technically this is my day "8" entry.....

    Whatever am I doing up at this ungodly hour do you ask?? .....

    Well, I'm flippin'........what..... .......yup....flippin' my many "creations" in my dehydrator!

    I had to work yesterday, so everything I made got started after 5 pm and later........so, here I am!

  4. Sunday Evening

    Ok, I caved a wee little bit...

    I did have my green smoothie this afternoon. Same as yesterday and I loved it! Then nothing else until dinner time. We have family dinner on Sundays and my sons come over with their wives, so I made basmati rice, tossed salad and left over beans and sausage. I also baked an apple coffee cake for the family to enjoy. Soooo, I was really good, had mostly salad with a little bit of the basmati rice on the side.     Another day of slipping, but I am a harsh critic so it may not be as bad as i think. i did well today. . .had a green smoothie with banana, blackberries, kelp, and green powder, but i ate out with friends twice and ate absolute garbage. I am so ashamed of myself in general for the things that i ate today. i can say "it's nothing" and "get over it" and "i'll do better tomorrow," but that kind of language does not resonate well with me to promote change. if i try ...
