  1. day 17. pumping iron.

    so far i have had NO desire to workout. my mind and body were not on the same page for the first 12 days or so...then at the end of last week i would have this huge surge of energy and my body would be craving some intense squatting sessions (my favorite). but i just couldn't rally the troops...*so to speak*. it's like i would THINK about it, but something was holding me back. i just think i wasn't ready.

    walking gets very boring for me. the only exercise i really love is dancing ...

  2. Raw Dinner for Hubby!

    This is my third day of getting into raw! I have decided to gear up for the October 30 day raw challenge! I know that November and December will be difficult because of the holidays.

    I bid on and won a wheatgrass juicer and a brand new food processor! They should be arriving soon! I made some pate with almonds and sunflower seeds in my little bitty processor I used to make baby food in. Can't wait for something bigger and easier!

  3. i don't want to settle

    Okay, I pretty much am set on moving to and going to Boston for school in the fall. I know I only visited once but I fell in love with the atmosphere of the city and felt very comfortable in it immediately. It seems like a great place to meet lots of people my age (after all there are a load of colleges in Boston) as well as have a more diverse experience. I've always wanted to live in a more energetic city atmosphere where I could be in close proximity to a variety of things such as schools, museums, ...

    Hey all, I've been struggling a bit to stay raw, but it's my only saviour at the moment. Tough times here, breaking up, moving, moving again... stress!!!
    I made a really good salad/relish last night - radishes, celery, a little onion, olive oil, parsley, chopped olives.. and I put that over marinated portabellos. I call it "cleaning out the fridge" salad. Turned out better than I expected! ...

    I went to the party and I had a great time. I laughed, schmoozed and met an acquaitance whom I didn't know was raw until Saturday night. And then... I met another woman at the party. <sigh> She complained about everyone, suspicious about everyone and thought she was psychic to boot. So, if she said they were bad, it's because the guides told her and they were really bad. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally all for using your intuition. BUUUUUT COME OOOOOOOOOOOON!!! <sigh> I was so joyous ...
