  1. Never so happy to have a rash lol!!

    Well it seems the other day I have developed a rash on the inside part of my arms near the elbow. I pretty much NEVER get rashes... can't remember the last time. So this is kinda new for me. But I see it in the positive light that it is... my body is attempting to release some toxins yay!!!!

  2. Day 5

    Well I'm writing this at the beginning of Day 6 actually.

    Day 5 was rough and I slipped a little but didn't let myself slide too far. I finally rid myself of that headache on Thursday and didn't want it back on Friday so I skipped the smoothie and just had a pear to eat.

    I think that was a problem because I didn't eat much and even though I wasn't real hungry during the day, I was cranky and had temptation thoughts. I stayed raw thru the day though having a banana ...

  3. I love sprouts!

    Here is the sprouting setup. Pretty low tech! The jars rest on a rolling pin and drain into the sink. I cover them up with a dark dish towel. It works great. I usually have 3 or 4 different ones going at a time. When they get done they go in the fridge and I start new ones. I especially enjoy lentil sprouts and an alfalfa/radish mix.

  4. ~Day two~

    Day one went well. Other than my one cup of coffee, I was totally raw with everything else. I really enjoyed that ranch dressing made from cashews, too. I am so glad I found a good dressing right off the bat like that, it will make things much easier! I don't have any yucky symptoms, prehaps cuz I haven't shed that last coffee yet. I will have it this week, and then be done with it completely. I really love my coffee.

  5. Day 12

    7:00 am

    I just made my first green smoothie and ewwwwwwwwwwwwe it was gross! I don't know if I didn't something wrong or if it's an aquired taste but I don't continue to eat/drink things if I need to "aquire" a tast for it. LOL If I don't like it, in the trash it gos. This is not a "diet" for me, it's a new way of living so I need to enjoy everything I put in my body.

    So I guess it's back to fruit smoothies only and I'll get my greens in my salads ...
