  1. Progress, not Perfection

    I had one minor slip yesterday and had a SAD meal. I think that this week has just been an emotional one for me and I tried to comfort myself with food. As usual, it didn't work! I am back on track today and just trying to be mindful that it's about progress and not perfection so that I don't beat myself up too badly.

    I haven't checked in for awhile so I thought that I would update my blog.

    I am eating 85% raw right now. Here's what I eat in typical day.

    Barley/wheat grass powder mixed in water
    Carrot juice

    Raisins and raw almonds

    Barley/wheat grass powder mixed in water
    Carrot juice

    Huge salad with assorted veggies, olive oil and lemon dressing
    Package of melba toast

    Smoothie or a banana

  3. Day 16

    I have to admit, I did aweful today. For some reason I've been struggling since yesterday. I think subconciously I'm frustrated for not losing much my second week even though I try not to. I really need to focus on the good things I eat and not the bad things.

    That being said, I just made myself a huge salad for lunch tomorrow and it looked so good that I had to have a little bit now even though it's 11pm. LOL I never eat so close to bed but I just had to have little bit.

  4. I did good yesterday

    For breakfast I had an apple, dried papaya, almonds, and fresh squeezed orange juice. For lunch I made the Fettucini Alfredo. It was yummy. I ate some dried apples immediately afterward, and I got sick as a dog! I looked up food combining, and I understood why. But I was done eating for the day. I didn't feel very good after that, and had to get up a couple of times during the night to relieve myself. My body is so danged sensitive! Now I'm afraid to eat anything without checking the food ...

    ok freaking a little bit here only 3 hrs till class & i still have a boatload to get done.
    dh was soooo needy today i wanted to hurt him. finally when he turned the corner into the kitchen at 1:30pm
    i glowered and told him ok you need to leave or to start helping... he backed out of there & i haven't seen him since.
    am i the only one dealing with this?????
