Revvell's Fit or Fat Program

Ongoing discussion about what I'm doing with this. It's about awareness in action.

  1. Sore, Tired and Alive!

by on 08-11-2009 at 12:13 PM (A Little of This; A Little of That)
Awakened sore and tired this morning. Just did NOT feel to get out walking. Made all the excuses. Heard all the rationalizations ~ I can walk this evening when it cools down again, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, I can yet, if ANYthing else pops up to do, I'll do THAT!

So! Got up, got on the 'puter for the mundane daily stuff, got dressed got out and WALKED! Fit or Fat??? My choice! Put in over 7,000 steps so far! The tapping has certainly helped make it easier. It's like, no matter what the ...
  2. Does This Make Sense to You?

by on 08-10-2009 at 09:00 AM (A Little of This; A Little of That)
Since I've been really looking at the Fat to Fit program, movement and working/playing with the "Tap Into Your Ideal Weight" program, I've come to realize how "counting calories" really has very little to do with eliminating excess weight.

Yesterday, I read an online artlcle from Time magazine on "Why Exercise Won't Make You This". Makes total sense to me.

One statement made in the article is, "... while it's true that exercise burns ...
  3. Fat to Fit and more....

by on 07-23-2009 at 10:21 AM (A Little of This; A Little of That)
O.kayyy! I'm almost up-to-par. Feeling REALLY good in the a.m.'s, 'specially after a good bm. The morning's are cool so it's time to get all my physical work done ~ water my garden, train, clean... whatever. The temp has been well up into the 90's and the humidity is fairly high. I'm not tolerating it well so, 'bout 1 p.m. or so, pretty much shut down and read, study, watch dvd's downstairs where it's cooler or, have two fans blowing on me. We rarely use the a/c as we've got a 5-bedroom house and ...

  4. Weight Elimination ~ Not Recommended Way...

by on 07-16-2009 at 04:55 AM (A Little of This; A Little of That)
The last 24 hours or so have been gruesome and for those who cry "TMI!!!!" I'd suggest you don't read further.

Wednesday morning I awakened about 3:50 to pain in my lower guts. I went to the restroom and had a relatively (for me) small bm. Didn't help the pain much. Went through gut pain all day. Lay in bed watching "America's Got Talent" and tapping. Himself made me some hot ginger tea which helped temporarily.

Late afternoon, did an enema. By this ...

  5. Down Even More ~

by on 07-14-2009 at 07:17 AM (A Little of This; A Little of That)
I've never used a scale before recently and it's fascinating to me. I've weighed myself before AND after I go to the bathroom; in the morning and in the evening. I weighed myself just now and.... down again!!!

Usually the morning I'm lighter and the evening, heavier. I can lose a pound just having a good bm ~ or not.

If you ARE going to weigh yourself, do so at the same time. I really don't think it's something for obsessive people to do (and no, I'm not obsessing ~ just ...
