  1. Self-Care

    Since I began my 30-Day, :30 minimum movement challenge, I've found myself taking care of myself even better than usual. I've upped my food program, eating more salads and making green (and other color) juices. I've found myself making and using body scrubs again. I'm using essential oils when working with clients.

  2. Telling People What You're Doing

    Every so often, and it seems REAL often, I hear of people wondering what to tell someone who is concerned about their food program or that they are on a fast, etc.

    Here's my answer ~ DON'T TELL THEM ANYTHING!

    Know this! I am speaking to adults here. I am not speaking to children who are still being supported by their parents/guardians and who still depend on them for their food, housing, lifestyle.

  3. How I Eliminated Excess Weight

    Well, this isn't the "tomorrow" I said I would write this ~ sort of "manana" time though.

    The problem I'm finding with writing my blog is that I get up fairly early, do some mundane things, then get out and walk. After writing my "How I Gained Weight" blog, the next morning I walked for about 2 hours. The following morning, I walked for 90 minutes (over 8,000 steps). During that time I think about all the things I want to write about including how I eliminated ...

  4. How I Gained Weight

    I awakened this morning contemplating weight gain. How fun is that? lol

    There are a few ways and reasons I gained in the first place.

    First was possibly menopause yet, I'm not sure of that one. I hadn't gained before I got married at 55 and I'd gone into it a few years before OR, maybe I just didn't notice which we'll get into in a bit ~ the noticing, I mean.

  5. Waayyy Outside My Comfort Zone

    I began my new UStream show this morning. I had planned on starting it last Monday as in last week Monday yet, kept procrastinating. I think my main concern was that I couldn't test everything before it went live. (you can ~ mostly).

    I've gotten use to doing shows where I'm not seen yet, on UStream, eeeeuww! I KNOW I look better than I do on camera. (well, I think I do. )

    Set it up, everything is blurry. Ummm, how do I turn on the camera?
