  1. 1 Month yesterday...

I finally have reached 1 month of sobriety and for me this is incredible accomplishment. I am determined to keep going and now that I have accomplished this, I now will do my best to transition to a 100% Raw diet.

I will not beat myself up when I have slip-ups in my Raw endeavor but accept the fact that it will be tough at times and do my best to propel myself to a habit of eating Raw.

  2. Raw Food for Everyone

I just rec'd Alissa's "Raw Food for Everyone" book about an hour ago in the mail. Like I normally do, I open every new book to a random page to see how it relates to me and what page did I land on: 'Staying Raw' pg.17.

So far, skimming through it, I am blown away and excited. I cannot wait until I start creating some of those great recipes.

  4. Celebrate my accomplishments...

Felt bad that I fell off the challenge yesterday, but determined to go back on immediately starting with a Breakfast & Lunch fast.

I will be going on my 3rd week of Sobriety as well (Monday). Feel really great about this fact. It's so easy to give in; I will not dwell though on my short-comings but celebrate my accomplishments.

Thinking about taking some Raw classes.

  5. Thank you...

Thank you for the last few comments... If I can, I'd like to share a brief experience at Bonobo's.

I spoke for sometime to a really cool guy on line. The main point we discussed is that too many people starting out on Raw eat salads but bore quickly with them, and wind up going back to SAD. His take was to really spend more time placing emphasis on the vast array of raw dressings and learn how to make them and getting bored of salads so easy will not happen. This was one of his ...
