  1. Days 6, 7, 8 and 9

    Wow, I don't do so well at this daily entry stuff. I just hate coming home from work and getting on the computer again even for fun stuff.

    Since I have 4 days to catch up on I'm not going to list what I ate each day. I actually did pretty good. I had 2 more slips but they were conscious decisions.   2. Day 5

    Well I'm writing this at the beginning of Day 6 actually.

    Day 5 was rough and I slipped a little but didn't let myself slide too far. I finally rid myself of that headache on Thursday and didn't want it back on Friday so I skipped the smoothie and just had a pear to eat.

    I think that was a problem because I didn't eat much and even though I wasn't real hungry during the day, I was cranky and had temptation thoughts. I stayed raw thru the day though having a banana ...

  3. Day 4

    Well my headache is finally gone. I had it, of course, on Tuesday and lightly yesterday and then pretty strong on and off today. Finally around 4:30 pm it started easing and disappeared altogether tonight. Yay!

    I think the big green smoothies and heavy fruit consumption led to stronger head pain - increasing detox. When I back off and eat some nuts or veggies it seems to ease. None of it is instant so I'm not sure but I know the more fruit the more cleansing going on.

  4. Days 1, 2 and 3

    Well I started a week later than I'd planned because I didn't plan. I was totally unprepared on the 5th and my raw journey ended at lunch time.

    This past weekend I loaded up on veggies and did some planning and recipes. I haven't had too much luck with recipes but there are a couple I like so I made those.
