You know I felt that way too the first month when I first went raw. I realized that I had to overcome the resentments and just know that I'm loving my body/me by feeding it with food that is naturally beautiful and does all kinds of wonders for me overall in my well being! I had to ask myself which was more important, me/my health or food?

That's what it really came down to it for me. It's just too bad that I had to learn it the hard way that what we eat really does matter.

And to defy the society's pressure to eat SAD is also something that I had to work on as well.

Hey you know, I've got an ear if you need someone to talk to if you would like some support and encouragements. I know that it can be frustrating from time to time.

I hear ya, about the wanting to do more in life!! I usually feel better on raw by the 1st day - I love it.....so, what is my problem?.....I agree also on the sleep part - like you've slept a hundred, deep hours, but it's only 5 -6 in reality!
    I will support you!~(((Hugs)))~monk~

Tommorow is a new day, though probably not a RAW one.

    Good for you!!!!!

I know what you mean about wanting something to be wrong...something to blame the problem on. I face a similar issue with a different ailment. I think fixing ourselves can be the absolute hardest thing!!

I am so proud of you for being true to yourself and for lighting a path!

    Take a deep breath!
Smile to your heart and remind yourself that you LOVE who you are!
Smile to your heart and remind yourself that you are WORTH THIS - worth being healthy, worth feeling good!

Maybe a One Day Challenge is what is best. I just did a fast...started one day saying "I am doing this for Nine Days" and made it nine hours. The same thing happened the next day and the day after that. Finally, after binging on an entire cheesecake (yep- the whole gosh darn thing!), I decided to take it one day at a time....and I am breaking my fast today at 22 days.

You're alive today so that means you get a "do-over". So, choose to be vegetarian for today, just for today. And take it one day at a time.

My love and blessings to you ~kellie

Ugggh didn't get the aboev right at all.

Maybe I don't like challenges. Maybe I haven't felt shitty enough to really make a change. But I'm 490 now and really need to mreinvent self before it becomes "all down hill". Ughhhh

    First off...(((((((HUGS)))))))
    Second off.....Well put WhoaRaw!!!!
It's all about choices. Make a choice, own it & move on. There are no rules. I will share that I made a cooked food decision on Monday. It made me feel ill all day yesterday. I am not going to feel guilty about my decision, but I moved on.
You don't have to do a 30 day challenge!
You have to make this a lifestyle that you can do & feel good doing it. There is no time limit to when you have to accomplish this. Take it one day at a time....better yet - 1 meal at a time. No worries.....
    I agree......Please don't be done!
Feel free to contact me anytime.....I mean that~monk~

When I firsted started eating raw food, I was not 100% raw at all!!! My goal was to eat more raw than I did a month ago. I was a horomone free/organic/grass fed meat eater for about a year and a half. My cheat food was homemade popcorn in coconut oil and sprinkled with sea salt, chocolate, health food store carob raisin, or yogurt covered raisin (and made an exception to have a piece of cake for my birthday). And 90% of the time was raw food. I never did a 30 day challenge! I know me, I would have never been able to pull it off. Transition was the only realistic way for me to be raw. So it took me a year and a half to be 100% raw!! I had to overcome the mindset of being a SAD eater as well!!! I just had to keep telling myself one day at a time and I will eventually be 100% sooner or later. I really chose to believe that with all my heart whether I felt like it or not.

You just got started with your list of goals that I've just read a few days ago!!! :) Please keep going!

Tony Horton from P90X has a really good advice that I'm going to share with you. He doesn't care if you do it all perfect, but he does want you to do your best and forget the rest. That's what counts. Just do your best everyday. Before you know it, you'll be where you want to be!!

    I wish you the best!!!
