    start- 264lbs
    now- 259lbs

    Today I ate-

    sprouted buckwheat cereal
    1/2 banana
    almond mylk

    10oz green juice (celery, kale, chard, cucumber, cilantro, apple)

    5oz red juice (celery, carrot, beet, apple, cilantro)

    green salad, 1/2 avocado
    4 corn 'crackers'

    lara bar

    green salad
    few slices raw cheese
    tahini dressing

    1 kiwi
    green tea ...

  2. picky toddler likes raw foods

    So my son is picky about his food and usually reluctant to try anything new. One of the foods he will ALWAYS eat is a smoothie, or as he calls them ‘nummy soothie’. He will drink them no matter what I put in them so they are always full of good stuff (like greens, avocados, flax, etc). He wants to try everything that comes out of the dehydrator. He doesn’t like everything, but the fact that he’s willing to try is great! I mean, this is a kid who picked berries with me and helped me bake a pie this ...

    Day 9-
    Start 264lbs
    Now 260lbs


    I’ve been at it for 9 days and a little surprised I’ve only lost 4lbs. Part of me would like to just throw the scale away. I am eating good and the weight will come off whether it takes 10 months or 3 years, it will. I am still eating more then I need and that will take some time to adjust. Eating late is also a problem and I am not going to tonight.

    Today I ate-

    Buckwheat ‘granola’
    Almond mylk ...

  4. Let's try again-

    Ok, so I've been eating mostly raw for 9 days now. I have tried before, several times, but usually it last about 4-6 weeks. This time I'm serious. I don't care if I'm not 100%, but I know it's easier if I am. It seems like even a little bit of cooked food triggers my hunger. I'm attempting to not be so 'all-or-nothing' about eating raw this time, that seams to be my down fall. I make one mistake and slide down a slippery slop. Not this time. First of all I won't make any mistakes...I will chose ...
