    GAWD, this is going to be a good day! Why? Because I said so!

    This morning I met my goal of finishing Culture and Customs of Kenya by Neal Sobania and Lift Like a Man, Look Like a Goddess, The New Rules of Lifting for Women by Lou Schuler.

    Culture and Customs of Kenya was a SUPERB book and was, by far the best book on the subject that I've read to date. It gave incredibly accurate and detailed information without being elitist or condescending toward the more rural ...

    Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee... it's finally sunny outside today. Yesterday it railed between mostly cloudy and looking like it was going to pour buckets any minute all. day. long. It has actually rained here pretty much everyday lately and it's starting to get O.L.D. Today, however, it's SUNNY with no appearance of rain clouds in the sky.

    Happy Anniversary to Me! (Day 160)

    Today is my 11th anniversary and my husband's 37th birthday. DH bought me THE best anniversary gift... a big gift bag stuffed with all my favorite fruits from the farmer's market. :::giggles::: He knows me so well.

    My Nori Came...

    I was delighted when I sunk my teeth into those delicious kelp noodles last week (note to self, must buy more!). Ever since, I've been waiting with bated breath for the Nori wraps to arrive.

    Sadly though, despite the fact that I've tried both a savory and a sweet nori roll, both just taste like I ruined a really great meal by wrapping it in soggy cardboard that had been used to store dead fish. I got a slight headache after eating it as well. While it didn't quite make me ...

    My Kelp Noodles Came!!!

    What an exciting week. First I ordered some Nori wraps and kelp noodles, then I got to order my BlendTec. It doesn't really get better than that, folks!

    Today, in record shipping time I might add, my kelp noodles arrived. First, I paid an outrageous amount for them because it was the only item I ordered so shipping was just as much as the noodles. I didn't want to order too many though in case I didn't like them.
