My husband is a terrible eater and it shows. But guess who is the biggest proponent of my being raw? My husband. He says I'm a different person when I'm raw and he's right. I'm much more happy and relaxed.

Think about everyone else? Do you really want to be that way? I cannot think of one of my peers that is vibrant and healthy the way I want to be vibrant and healthy. That is why I've got myself signed up for local raw meetups. I need to make some new friends and build up a support system here. Maybe that would help you?

Don't concentrate on what you can't have. That is a recipe for failure. There is so much great raw stuff!

And believe me, it all will catch up with your junk-eating dh and everyone else who eats junk. While they are all going down-hill, you and I will be getting younger and younger!

I feel the same way. Why can't I eat like everyone else? I end up feeling depressed, achy, and uncomfortable. I wish you the best and hope you enjoy raw today!

LOL...sorry I didn't see this question before. :) Pineapple cream is simply Pineapple and soaked Cashews blended together smooth. Let it set over night and it will thicken quite a bit. Delish!!!!

Pineapple cream? Hmmmm......drool. heh. Pancakes? ergh! Making me hungry. I forgot to eat tonight!!! Must....have.........LOL! I have a raw cheese being pressed in the fridge as we speak. And flax crackers in my homemade dehydrator as well. I love simple raw, but sometimes...ya know? Gotta have something more. Fresh bananas are a life saver!

Good for you! Determination and persistence will become consistency. You can do it! You ARE doing it! :)

I like the way you think! It is too easy to let not being able to be "perfect" be an excuse for going back to old eating patterns. I had a similar epiphany when I went raw this time. The first time, I tried to go 100% hardcore, and only lasted a week or two. This time, I decided to go a little easier on myself. Net result: I am eating much better now than I was last time, by this time! So I say, you go, girl! :-)

It's time ShelShel... and yes.. I will definitely be praying with you and for you. I am coming back from an Up and doWn roller coaster of wrong food choices... so once again sweetie... we're on this path together! You're a good travel buddy... and we will do this. ;)

right now - I'm not doing a lot of food prep. I made some onion bread, flax crackers.. you know - the staples. Mostly I've been needing vibrant foods - crispy crunchy salads ... mono foods - not by choice really - but it seems it's what my body wants.

ReneeH has been doing Alissa's 30 day meal plan and posting pics... I'm drooling over them! and it's starting to wake up my taste buds to start wanting marinara - and some other yummy stuff...
    LET's DO THIS GIRL!!!
    RAWk on!

Kombucha is a raw tea. :) It's tea that has been cultured for 30 days. Active Enzymes are produced and it is very good for you! You can purchase it in bottles at your local health food store. ;)

I am starting to love eating raw too. Sometimes I miss the other stuff, though.

    What is Kombucha?
