Hi Shelshel! ...I AM still replugged in, just had a few obstacles the last few days and think I have all my ducks in a row to start tomorrow. I actually am really stoked...I just want this so bad and I know that once I get going with it, it will be easy peasy...like any change goes I guess, but I don't seem to be battling demons as far as the direction I want to go...I want to go all raw...my cooked favorites just seem meh, replaceable, or just plain addictions. Anyways, I hope you stick around because otherwise I will just be forced to keep posting on your wall a one-sided conversation, lol.

Oh, it is so good to hear from you! I am glad you are doing well with chaos and all. Life is a bit like that! :P
Yes, I too am doing what I am inspired to do and that is help my whole family (mostly my hubby and me...children as a bi-product) get healthy and loose this extra weight.

Adam and I just joined Weight Watchers on line, but I can't begin to tell you how much of our days will be eating high raw. (I'm not even going to tell him. ;) LOL )

That is just the smartest way to eat and it plays out every where.

I will post an entry to fill in more, but it is sooooooooo good to hear from you. (((HUGS)))

    Hey You!!

That is funny, I have been poking in here and there to see what everyone is up to, but mostly have been incredibly swamped with exams and a tornado of obstacles that only happens when you have six kids I think, lol.

I am however, done school and have just under 12 weeks off. ...and by off I mean I am only taking care of kids, cleaning, purging and organizing my house and recovering my body that looks like it just gave birth to a degree...haha. .and that means raw.

I am going for high raw again...I'm going to see if I have an easier time with it, with lower stress levels. This is an experiment...I don't have a start date and I'm not having a last supper, just each meal/moment...but with focus.

I'm kind of barely just starting out...eating a lot more raw and phasing out the junk food. Cleaning my fridge, etc.

My hope is that in a week I will be said high raw and working out and have licked this cold I have. I'm going to blog here again also :)

So that's what's happening with me, I would love see you joining in with some stuff. Honestly, I am totally doing just what I am inspired to do in the moment, but I seem to be spending more and more time thinking about different raw recipes and giant salads and fruits, so hopefully that translates into action. ...well actually tonight it did, I had a huge taco salad, instead of tacos. Wasn't all raw, but a huge improvement for me as of lately. :)

AWESOME!!! I love it... You are sooo awesome for taking the time to take the steps to make it happen! If you have a nice mix of organic vibrant yummies in the house, it will sure be easier to stick to it!

Hope you're having a fabulous weekend!

    :-) xxo Eva

Ok, I awake every morning wanting, trying to be 100%. When I fail, it is always something home made and (by my standards healthy), like the two cups of spinach are in a turkey wrap. Last night I had tortilla chips, but with spinach dip. It's not my raw best, but it's my lifestyle best up until now. I find I'm setting the high goal and doing what I can to make as many good choices as possible with every meal.
Working and trying to do anything for me seems next to impossible, yet I've found time each night this week to do pilates and now my twelve year old is doing them faithfully with me. It's encouraging to be setting a good example in this area of my life...it helps motivate me.
    Hope that helps, I feel I'm rambling...it's 6:53am. LOL

I think you did really well actually...you are keeping such good focus even though you have your foot still in cooked a bit. I am wondering if it is mentally hard to do?

I might have something cooked tonight, since it's Friday and that was my original plan...although the last time I did that I did not do like you are doing now...so I guess that's why I ask how you're doing it...is your aim to be all raw and then you just slip from it, or ??

You're doing awesome I think!! Are what cooked your eating healthy'ish or whatever is in sight?

aah confession! Good for you Shelshel, that can be hard to do! ...raw spinach is good though, as were your tummy exercises at your desk...funny, I have been doing those too!

Good for you with the green smoothie thing, I am having an aversion to them these days and would rather have salad.

    Butternut Squash Soup:
1 and 1//2 cups of water, handful of cashews and blend smooth. (Cashew Mylk)
Add about a cup of butternut squash diced very small.
    Blend until smooth.
I added this to a pot on the stove stirring constantly until room temp only. Adding sea salt, pepper and celery seed to taste.

It's a thick creamy texture and I love it. Very hearty!

    Ok, carrot cake:
(I never measure amounts, just sort of eye ball it!)
    Ingredients:
half raw brazil nuts, half walnuts chop into flour (food processor)
    Dump in a bowl.
Add carrots to food processor, chop into fine shreds.
Add a few soaked medjool dates and blend together.
Dump carrots into nut mixture and mix until incorporated. Add about 1/2 cup soaked raisins. Mix!
    Press into square pan.

    Frosting:
    Ingredients:
coconut oil, agave, vanilla & cinnamon, mix as you, top cake and put in fridge to set up. YUMMMMMMM!
