I hope you heal. Keep raw fruits and veggies in your life. I know they can heal you even if you have to add other things. Sorry to see you go. Be careful where you get your infor about being non vegan. The world is against it especially cow/dairy industry. They fund bogus studies.

what is the condition? Who told you that? Why do you think what you've been told is true?

Those aren't questions I am asking answers to but you might consider answering them for yourself and reviewing the answers!

Aaaaah!!! What's your issue? Come visit me at sparkpeople... ANNAMAAM :) ...I'm looking for a balance that incorporates raw power, but not necessarily vegan either.

    Hey Shelshel!

Gosh you won't believe this, well maybe you will, haha...I am LOVING this downtime and my house is getting cleaner by the day, my world is going from chaos to organized and I'm finding myself more and more and more wanting to go raw. I am being pulled in even though that was not my intention...as you read from my latest blog, I am just beginning to realize that I LOVE raw and that I want to BE raw. Today I had such a drain on my energy and got a headache and turned to raw and whole foods and ended the day just bouncing off the walls with energy that I used to clean my house...while hubby and friend had the after supper slump, I was spinning circles around them. This is how I want to Live, lol. ....I think maybe I couldn't be raw and pour in the number of hours a day I needed to just Sit to do school...the schooling thing was a very incongruent lifestyle really, I would only do and recommend part-time, like very part-time. Anyways, rambling. ....I am not sure where I sit, but I am seeing a natural evolution happening, I thought I kind of had it all figured out, wasn't going to stress myself out trying to be all raw, but what I see happening is that now that obstacles are falling...the path is clear and I want to go willingly.

So I might see you around. Oh and your blog is WONDERFUL....I love it. And you're so cute, what an inspiration. :) Smoothie...mmmmmm!

    Hi Shelshel!

...I just typed you a whole, long message and then my internet connection got interrupted and I lost it! I hate that!...

Anyways, I was just saying that you are super awesome for one thing...and for another I read a research article on raw vegans once when I was mucking around my university online library database...there isn't much research on rawbies, but I did find one. One thing I remember it saying is that those with serious health concerns were more likely to adhere to the diet over the long-term. So this makes sense...perhaps it's important to keep in mind our health issues and keep them in proper perspective, if we want to stay focused. :)

I'm glad you are doing so well....I was thinking of joining the raw for 30 days thread, it might be a bit more active than the blogging section...I really miss being high/all raw and my health really needs the conversion as well!

Yes, I find I like things some people don't. . I love gingerade kombucha the best. It is fizzy. It does not taste like tea at all. Bitter gingerale is more like. But as I woke up with an upset tummy, this hit the spot. Again my lunch was cooked, but i'm going after a raw dinner. Avocado, tomato and fresh basil. Yummmmmmmmm! Hugs!

    Traceyraw...not sure I would stop at 1/2 glass....more like 1/2 bottle. hahaha
I did not stay home a lot when then were younger though. I did put my foot down for about 4 years or so when the kids were younger and needed babysitters when we lived places that I did not know anyone. Where do you get organic red wine? I do some of my own wine making but would be nice to get it somewhere else.

Congrats on the new job. I never liked the Kombucha not a fan of fermented stuff. Stress totally derails my eating plans so I keep a bottle of organic red wine for emergencies. about 1/2 glass does it. Its raw... :)

Tigger you are so lucky to be able to stay home with your kids.

    Hugs ladies.

I have wondered about Kombucha. Is all of it fermented and fizzy? What exactly does it taste like? I saw some comments saying it resemble ACV. I am curious but could not drink something like that. And is there any made without processed sugar? Yep, stress is HUGE.
I finally de-stressed at the beginning of January. Left my job...errrr purgatory. I have one child in college, a junior, and a freshman. I would not have thought that they would have noticed, but they have. My youngest is in his glory that mom is at home. Who would have thought it possible from teenagers? Many moms go back to work after their kids start going to school. Maybe I shouldn't have?

Doing better! Good for you! Try adding up the calories of your raw foods...they seem reeaally low. Can't be more than 300-400 cals there. It is completely difficult to resist temptation when you are running low on fuel. Grab a giant basket and fill it with fruits and veggies that you love and eat with wild abandon. You will find it so much easier. Very excited for your progress though! woohoo!

Awesome! Happy dance for ShelShel! Ohhhhhhh the headaches of caffeine withdrawal. I feel your pain. I like a spoon to stand up straight in my coffee. Heh. I had 3 days of withdrawal. And I am sure I will never give it up completely as I roast my own beans as well. I am a diligently practicing addict. LOL. I think I will limit to one or two on the weekends though in the future. Day 7 of juice fast for me!!

Look at us all neck'n'neck! I am raw during the day while on placement...but not so much on weekends but still a little. It's a good start.

I've been fasting for several hours each day since I first started. Two days in a row until 2 pm, today for entire afternoon. But I am still sick so one my eating times I find it difficult to not eat soup. :/. Trying. ;). Glad to hear you are doing well. I keep trying for more. (((hugs)))
