    Hi Shelshel!
I have yet to make a smoothie for breakfast....buuuut, I will continue to try and incorporate this idea...I DID do the salads for lunch pretty consistently last week though!

How are you doing these days now? Lemme know what's up!! I have learned lots recently about eating from my counsellor who specializes in disordered eating and am itching to share and where I am at.

I have all the tomatoes to finally try the soup and I will make it tomorrow for sure. :)

Sending out lots of positive energy your way. ♥

Ok, take several leaves of basil, roll them into a tight roll. Slice across this in small strips. Pull the bits apart and sprinkle. :). Chiffonade!

Sounds quite delicious!!!!! YAY!!!!! to everything. :)

Oh yummmm!! I must try this...what is Chiffonade though? I will get some tomatoes tonight, just ate my last one.

I have the Same issue with garlic...I can stand a bit, but usually always switch out raw garlic just for garlic powder and do much better...plus I like the taste better also.

Your food sounds great. Like Deb B I am doing some herbs from Dr. Robert Morse. I feel 100% different. More energy. My mood is great and I am sticking to a healthy diet. (raw). I have sluggish adrenal glands. His herbs make the world of difference to me. Gods Herbs if you have time to look him up.

Mystic tree thanks for the suggestion! Deb B is helping. :)

    Thank you Bananna!!!
This is wonderful information. I too am trying to keep to small meals three a day and light healthy snacks. ( fresh fruit and such)

I'm so happy for you. Getting your house organized
    Is a great thing!

Yes, I keep coming back to see how you are. :)
I keep hoping that I will discover something that
Definitively states: for me raw is the best thing. I'm not sure why I'm questioning that it is when I was so successful with it before, but I am.
I'm searching. Eliminating. Adding. It's the journey.
Thanks for checking on me Bananna.
    (((hugs)))

Hey Shelshel...I did reply to this days ago but then lost internet connection. ...the short answer is the enzyme you are talking about is tyrosine. Wiki says it is found in a number of foods besides red meat:

    Dietary sources

Tyrosine, which can also be synthesized in the body from phenylalanine, is found in many high-protein food products such as soy products, chicken, turkey, fish, peanuts, almonds, avocados, milk, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, lima beans, pumpkin seeds, bananas, and sesame seeds.[4] Tyrosine can also be obtained through supplementation.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrosine

I am not trying to deter you from anything, just that if you need to be mindful of that enzyme, here are some other sources for you also!

...things are going well for me, my house is almost all organized again and I should be ready to start growing sprouts in my machine thingy I got...six months ago! lol...anyways, I am not sure where I stand with raw,....right now I am just incoroporating functional eating habits and stress management from the link in my other post. The part I am at right now does not focus on food choices, just eating regular meals when you are actually hungry and not just grazing, snacking or over-eating due to taste, stress or boredom. So I have been following my appetite...the physiological one, lol...I am actually down 2.5 pounds so far and my appetite is normalizing.

I would love to still keep tabs on you though and wish you nothing but the right and easiest path to get healthy.

Sorry to hear that most of those studies are put out and paid heavily for by the cattle industry to sway people to eat it. I am sorry raw is not working for you. I would hate to see you go. Detox is pretty powerful you may feel bad now but when your done detoxing you will feel 100% better. Wish you all of the best and health.

Hi guys. :) you are all so hard to say good bye too I just had to check back in for a moment. Thank you for you comments, posts, questions and comments. I have hypothyroidism. I've been doing some more research lately on everything because I simply feel awful.
