  1. Back On Track

    After giving in to cooked foods last month, I'm back on track this month. Cooked food is so addictive! I went on a cooked food binge...and I didn't feel great afterwards.

    Today for breakfast and lunch I had watermelon and cantaloupe. For dinner, I'll have either a green smoothie or a salad.

    My goal weight is 175 lbs, so I have a long way to go before I reach my goal weight.

  2. Day 4 of Being Raw Vegan

    Today for breakfast and lunch, I had a green smoothie and for dinner, I had Avocado Spring Salad. I feel good and look forward to tomorrow.

    It was nearly 70 degrees in NYC today, so I went out for a long walk. I also stopped by the supermarket and got some bottled water and 4 avocados.

    I refuse to drink water from the tap. I can literally smell the chlorine in the water and tap water is definitely a turn-off for me.

  3. Being Raw Vegan (4/05/2013)

    Today is my first day of being raw vegan. I went to the supermarket and bought lots of fruits and vegetables. So far, I feel energetic and refreshed. I went on a long walk (since the weather was nice).

    I'm excited about embarking on this raw vegan journey again. I know that I will be no longer contributing to the suffering of animals.

    For lunch and dinner I had watermelon and cantaloupe. I love these fruits and plan on eating a lot of them.

  4. Fasting and More

    On March 30th, 2013 I will be starting a 10 day water fast. I've fasted in the past, but never made it past 2 days. This time, I am ready to try fasting again.

    I am overweight and I know that I must take care of my body properly. On April 8th, 2012 I will go 100% raw. When I was 100% raw in the past, I lost a lot of weight and I felt healthy.

  5. I Want To Be Healthy Again

    It's been over a year since I last posted an entry in this blog. My weight has gone up from 290 lbs to 328 lbs. I haven't been eating raw at all. I rarely eat veggies and when I do, they're usually cooked. I rarely eat fruit.

    Starting this February, I will start the transition back to raw. I will start eating more fresh fruits and vegetables. Sometime this year, I will invest in a juicer. I will start exercising for 30 minutes each day and work my way up to an hour of exercise each ...
