whoa-raw! This is an inspiring post! You have in helped me in two ways by posting this.

    1) I have been 100% raw (with the occasional slip in the beginning of eating agave or nama shoyu that I didn't realize was in something - avid label reader now!) since Feb.2, '09 and every so often I get sorely tempted to taste some old favorite SAD food. You see, I still cook for the family and every once in a while... Your post makes me realize what folly that would be and now I doubt I will be tempted again.

    2) This whole time that I have been raw I have been wanting to get back into exercising. I am digging deep to find the answers to why I am not exercising. Your post shines a light on some things that I didn't know I was using to hold me back (ie: how difficult exercising has been in the past and how the next few days were painful even if I had taken it easy on myself). You have given me a new hope that this time it will be easier and perhaps more enjoyable.

What a great Mother's Day gift! I thank you from the fullness of my heart!

    Thanks! :)
I'm glad you enjoyed reading it!
It just one of those things like spur of the moment to do something different instead of the same ole thing to make. So even if it didn't turn out ok, I would have just use grounded flax seeds and some water to turn it into mix to make crackers to put into the dehydrator. That's what I normally do just in case so that help if I feel like being a little creative sometimes!! :)
I agree, totally nice when it turns out well and it really does feel good to get some creativity going!

Yum, looks good. Thanks for posting. And it was nice to read about your creative process. Nice when we wing things and they go well.

I missed you! I just started a modified eating plan to get rid of a few pounds. How appropriate that you should come back today and remind me about exercising!!! :) Thanks, I needed that!

    Keep on blogging. :)

Hi RawKnitster, I've been away for awhile!!
I also find that keeping a daily exercise journal on my own is motivating and helps me be more aware of the fact if I'm being true to my goal untill it becomes a permanent part of my life!
I'll be rooting you on to be a very happy exerciser!! :)

What a wonderful way to look at it. I am so lame on the exercise issue. I dread facing the same thing day after day. If I try on your attitude and style, it might be interesting enough to keep me doing it. Thanks for the inspiration and great idea. It doesn't have to be all or nothing. :)

    Glad I could help. :)
Can't wait to see myself unlearning all my unwanted habits!! Raw really had showed me that I had to unlearn all my SAD habits. Exercising is reminding me of that again!!

Yup, after reading his post about colanders I went to a flea market and bought 2! I am sprouting winter wheat right now - hoping to grow wheat grass for the first time ever!

Islegirl - Thanks for sharing with me your joy of sprouting, even after being a pro after all these years. It's nice to know that the sprouting is always a constant refreshing joy.

Shine - Here's some joy of how simple this really can be. Check out the section Pro Sprouters on the forum in the sprouting section.
Michagan Roman demonstrate how easy it is by just using the colanders to rinse throughout the day without any hassle and leaving them in there to sprout in joy. I was looking for a way to sprout that is easy, fun, simple, and quick. Pretty soon, I'm gonna buy several colanders.
Colanders are my sprouting tools now. :) Enjoy!

I need some of your sprouting motivation!! I am not very good at the whole thing - usually using WAY TOO MANY and ending up with a congelled (sp?) mess!! :)
