No doubt lifting weights would help, because it is a fact that weight exercises will make your muscles lean, and lean muscles burn more calories, thus increasing your metabolism.

I like to read the fine print. It will say, "Results not typical" or "Follow the diet and exercise plan enclosed." That's how they get away with it.

Just have to say, you are totally right about the pills being a dangerous non-solution, but I did burn more calories than I took in - for years. According to the numbers, I should have lose 2+lb per week, yet I gained 100lb in 7 years. I didn't lose weight until I started lifting weights (was just doing cardio before) & went back to being 100% raw.

    Don't believe the hype!

:::giggles::: What do they THINK you're going to do with it all? Some people are funny!

I have to admit, I actually like spending time in the kitchen but I don't like to spend ALL my time in there. If you don't have it already, buy Alissa's DVD. I felt really overwhelmed with just the recipe book at first but when I watched the DVD and how quick and easy it REALLY is to make this stuff I had no more excuses. Truly, even if the recipe is a full page long it's often a lot easier to prepare than it looks.

Also, I find that most of the time even if it takes a lot of tools to create a recipe it's really simple to wash them because there isn't a bunch of stuck on baked on crud to scrape off. Usually all it takes is a rinse and swipe to get most tools clean. Even my juicer can be used, emptied and cleaned all in less than 10 min.

I'm sure your area has many wonderful things, like one of the seven wonders of the world... but only one grocery store? Being from Seattle that is hard for me to comprehend. Would the grocery store do special orders for you?
