  1. Baby steps

    I've been an omnivore most of my life (about 90%). A lot of my diet used to include McDonnalds, pizza, ice cream...junk basically. I tried to eat "healthy" (ie. no junk) and suceeded for quite a while.

    My problem is I keep on trying to go from an omni diet to a raw vegan diet all at once. I want to be raw so bad but I can't resist certain temptations.

  2. I need this!

    I don't know why I'm having such trouble staying raw. I've done it in the past but for some reason I am more addicted to cooked food than ever!

    I really need this though. I NEED to be raw! Every time I stop being raw I begin to have yet another health problem. My body is practically yelling at me to be raw.

    First I began to have mental health problems (many of which were there my whole life but have become severe enough that I need medication).

  3. Day 3

    Today is day 3 and I feel fine. Not great, not crappy, just somewhere in-between.

    I had to buy a new blender yesterday because mine started leaking all over the base.

    I've been making banana/spinach smoothies for breakfast. I love them! Though Frankie and the kids have been eating the bananas too and now I'm left with only 2 bananas and I'm about to use them for my breakfast. lol Going to have to buy more today!

  4. Plans

    Everytime I go back to raw I get very excited and start making plans. Everytime I plan on going raw it's always when I don't have the money to buy what I need. That's why I plan. It keeps me motivated.

    I'm going to take what I've learned these past 5 years of being raw on and off, and I'm going to put it to use.

  5. Fell off the wagon...going back on again

    A few months ago I went raw. It feels like it was longer. I haven't been raw for a while now. I want to go back. I just feel so good when raw. I'm happy and healthy and able to handle stress better.

    I have so many digestive issues and much to my doctors' surprise raw veggies are one of the few foods that don't cause digestive problems for me. My internist and gastrointerologist both said that if I want to be raw then it'll probably be a good thing (I brought it up).
