I need to learn how to make lemon cashew creme and lemony coconut butter frosting!

(hint, hint) if you can pry yourself away from your dehydrator long enough.

Awesome on the 9 pound loss too by the way, that is absolutely fantastic

I was hoping Cabela's would have the Excalibur but they did not. Still, so far so good with their own model! The bread I made (black sesame sunflower bread) is absolutely divine. I had a slice for brekkie with cashew cheese spread on it.

Ooo I'm excited for you! I need a dehydrator too. Let us know how this one is working for you! Strawberries sound so good right now. mmm. And I never even thought of going to Cabela's, good call!

Reesh, do you ever feel like you carry around a checklist? That once you do something you begin thinking...ok...that's not for me anymore...check!?!?!? I do this constantly. If something makes my stomach unsettled, it is such a great tool to remind me of why I choose raw....not that I'm held down by it. I am free to not feel that way anymore...should I choose. Ahhhhhhhhhh...(Drinking kombucha to calm the ill choices I am currently suffering through.)

Thanks everyone! I also had some chiles rellenos last night and it was like mega bloat all night afterward. My boyfriend is 100% supportive and was like, "welp, I guess we won't be having mexican anymore". He only wants to go to restaurants where I can eat comfortably.

    Reesh,
That is awesome and so inspiring for me. I find that with everything I eat these days...it doesn't taste as yummy as it should. How wonderful for you to have found a comfortable place in raw. YEAH!!!

    I love this line & lol'd.....

"Where is this discipline coming from? It is most excellent."

Love the "It is most excellent" line the best!!

Yeah, the longer you're Raw the more the foods that used to be in your diet seem not food like at all......if my BF is eating gummy worms, or some kind of candy by me - the smell is so over-poweringly sweet - it almost makes me want to vomit.....

Can't wait to hear what you will make this weekend!!! ~monk~

I so agree about the chemical taste of things...it's surprising.
Ani Phyo recipes generally are awesome and easy, love her!!!

You seem in a great place ...inspiring me :)

You're feeling a light, free, peaceful balance that is unable to be achieved without raw foods. The foods that were designed by nature to make us feel this way, so we can be aligned with all the cosmos. Like it was intended all along.

It's amazing to think that all along we could have felt like this. Instead of "gaining" a new way of life, it's more like just coming to the realization that this has been with you all a long but it was just cloaked in an heavy, chemical, un-natural state of being.

Its awesome to see someone with energy radiating from everywhere! This is what it's all about! You're already there.

P.S. Ani Phyo was one of the first raw foodists I learned about. Her books were the first I ever cracked open. :-)

I checked out the website. Beautiful pictures and I like their admiration of nature. I am that way too and I would one day love to go on a journey like that.

You are blessed to have people like this in your life. Thanks for sharing!

The butter is so tempting. Considering my boyfriend likes to completely soak the bag! blehhh. Luckily it makes me sick too, so I usually can say no.

    Scape Bistro sounds yummy.

P.S. I love the pic of you & the cat :-)
