I believe they are great for assisting your body to release old impacted waste, for certain. One needs to be prepared for the "detox" symptoms that come up, emotional and some physical. I found that it made me feel lighter to do a series of 6, going 2x per week when making the transition to predominately raw
(80%.) I certainly didn't have the cravings for cooked while undergoing them, that I have now.
But again, emotionally alot of stuff came up, almost to an accelerated rate as if you were fasting versus just raw.

    Great to see you!
What do you think of the colon hydrotherapy? I am so curious about it!
I know what you mean about the gourmet vs. simple foods. I try to have a balance of both. All the gourmet stuff tastes amazing! But my body doesn't handle having that day to day. I try to eat simply for the most part, and then make a more gourmet meal just once or twice a week.
You'll find what works best for you as you experiment with different combinations.

We can miss what a wonderful gift it is for others when we share our story as a light beyond the end of the tunnel. Your excitement, graciousness and enthusiasm is infectious, and your light would be blinding if I looked with my eyes. Thank you.

BeFree, isn't it wonderful to feel so alive! Does my beginning to eat raw food at age 62 mean that I could actually dance too? Heh heh! I danced my little heart out as a young child. I was just crazy about it - always crazy about what I called "jazz ballet" -don't even know what it is actually called today - the kind of dancing done in "Dirty Dancing" & "Flashdance" - Mmm - am still wild about that stuff. So keep on dancing girl!

Great Journal, I am just starting on this journey and had a slip up last night. I love GS and I am trying to get to the point where they are all I want. I already drink about a gallon of water a day so that is not a problem. I really want this to be a way of life for me not just a diet. I tried the Kale Chips from Julianos rest in Santa Monica Ca. I had read about them on this site, they are to die for. The only thing is that they were not as crunchy as I expected so I put them in my Excalibur Dehydrator over night. They were perfect so after this GS Feast I really need to learn how to make these. They take care of my sweet cravings.

So great going girl and keep up the good work you are definitely a great example. Thank you
