  1. Getting a rebounder!

So one of my clients is going to train me and trade me for her rebounder! I'm so excited... She is also a chiropractor so it's great to have a chance to work with someone who knows proper form.

The weather is most beautimous today and I have officially quit caffeine with little to no headache going into day 3.

My routine of prepping food for a few days has also been sucessful and I don't find myself having to run to the store as often.

  2. garlic and barfy feeling

hey folks. this is something i keep meaning to ask. i can't stand eating raw garlic. it makes me feel like i want to hurl so i usually avoid it or don't add it to recipes that require it.

Did/does anyone else have this issue? I can eat cooked garlic just fine but there's something about it... even dehydrated... that just kills me.

  3. making a FRESH start

How do we get past other peoples questions and hangups about lifestyle? I don't bug people about the processed junk they eat... even though I should, with an 'educational' twist of course. doing green smoothies i have wonderful glowy skin and strangers in the co-op ask if i soak my walnuts... it's like they KNOW. weird.

then.... i spend a few days only doing 'raw till dinner' or 'as much as i can' and it all goes down the drain. my skin gets icky, i don't sleep as well and i get anxious/depressed feeling. now i konw it's not in my imagination.

it's amazing how wonderful it is to have discovered ...

  5. Thrive in Seattle

Kudos to Thrive. I ate there yesterday and had a delicious meal - zuchinni pomodoro and a mocha cake for dessert. The owners are so friendly and gave us a sample of their tasty 'shine' pineapple/ coconut smoothie.

Also yesterday I made a batch of matthew kenney's vanilla raspberry granola and I swear it tastes exactly like fruity pebbles!
Also did a bunch of flax crackers and some sweet seed bars - I have wheat (for rejuvelac) and garbanzos (for hummous) sprouting at home. ...
