    I am starting over again. This is not a defeat. It is a reality check and a fresh start because I got waaaaaay of track and want to start over.

    Just got a letter in the mail from my naturopath that confirms a mild/beginning diabetes diagnosis I suspected. It explains the cravings for sweets and simple carbs. instead of being discouraged, I am going to make this re-motivate me.

  2. Day 12

    it has been a challenge to stay both raw and vegan during this cold snowy weather. I did eat some meat and it did not sit well with my body.

    I am not discouraged but I am not 100%
    Being gentle with myself. Trying new recipes.

    I do need to read your blogs and post every day.
    I believe these last 4 days would have been easier if I had done so.

  3. Day 8

    Today was a challenging day. Even though I was all vegan, I was hooked on the cooked food thing and the starches. I read Morn's blog post and was inspired by her progress.

    Tonight I have thrown away the cooked food, made fresh green drink and a have my veggies ready for a green, completely raw day tomorrow. That is my goal.

    There is a jazz song entitled "I've got a small day tomorrow." I am singing it to myself and changing the words to "a raw day ...

  4. Day 7

    Officially one week of being vegan and mostly raw. However, I made the mistake of eating a bit of processed vegan food--veggie sausage, almond cheese and non-gluten tortilla's.

    It was a mistake because it triggered---well of course it triggered old patterns.

    My goal this next week is to stay raw--one day at a time.

    Doing a lot of personal reflection to complete this year and clear out other areas of my life as well as my body.

    It is a challenge but a good thing.
