  1. Been raw for 24 days now...

    I am so proud of me! I have to admit that other than my main goal of avoiding sickness and lifelong medications, my very close 2nd goal is to be thinner. I avoided mirrors like the plague...

  3. Emotional issues

    The last time I went raw, I was psyching myself out for the physical detox, but was blown away by the emotional detox. I was completely unprepared for that. It was the thing that drove me to eating poorly again. I was so "not in control" of my emotions that I resorted to bad habits and "quick fixes" that only made my stomach hurt and made me feel guilty...all while doing absolutely nothing to help with the emotions I was dealing with at the time.   4. So it's been a while since I posted on here...

    Firstly, I fell off the wagon for a bit. But, I'm back. I should be happy that I am at least making strides toward health, but I am really good at beating myself up when I mess up.

    Also, I am really struggling with fatigue and lethargy. It sucks to be at work and not have energy. I need to figure what's causing it. I may be anemic again.

  5. Day 2

    Today was definitely harder than yesterday. I made it, though. And for that, i am proud. Especially because this guy at work kept trying to give me some of his homemade cake. I had to sit in an office (that I share with him) while he stuffed his face with it. I can laugh about it now, but at the time, I was surely tested. All day long, my mind went back and forth about the cake. But, now that I'm home, I can say that I am SO PROUD of myself for not eating it. (I don't think I've mentioned ...
