Oh, okay. Never mind then :)
That's sweet that you still make food for him. My husband has definitely had to get used to making more of his own food. We used to do all the cooking together, now we each make our food separately. That is what has been the biggest adjustment for us.

Ah, I wish I had some sunshine! Soak some up for me :)
Sorry that your husband is not being supportive. Hopefully as he sees you experience positive results, he will understand more. Hang in there!

The nice thing is, the cravings *do* go away. Even when they are at their worst, and I have had some monster ones.
I have additional motivation. Since I hit my 40's my tummy has gotten more sensitive. If I eat right, I have no pain. If I eat wrong...OWIE!!

Melissa: Yes you are right. I had plenty of raw cashews last night they filled me up. What are the things that I can sprout?

Rawchic: Hi :) the pumpkin bashamel I made was cooked because it was for my husband. He thinks eating raw food is crazy. If you want to know the cooked recipe, I'd be glad to tell you ;)

Emma-Liza: welcome, thank you for your delicate words and Thank you for your advice :) How do you eat the sprouts and corn? Do you sprout them?

Greens, sprouts and nuts seem to fill me well. Fruits tend to make my hungar increase. Raw cashews are so yummy.

Seekers are especially blessed, because their hearts are open....I had to eat a LOT when I first went raw because I was so hungry all the time. When I gave myself permission to eat as much as I wanted, I got over being so hungry and my appetite fell back quite a bit. It takes some time. Another tip--I have identified some starches that help fill me up: corn, peas and other legumes, oats.

corbeau: Welcome, well, I'm still new so I haven't tried any complicated raw recipes yet, but I might put some basil, peppermint, thyme, sommaa, or ginger in the salad... I buy spices to cook for my husband he loves the stuff.. that day I was gonna cook fish. Thank you for the suntea tip ;) gonna try it when I can ( I don't have sun in my current room)

Islesgirl: Thank you :) yes lovely colours

Thank you for the lovely pictures. You are doing very well on your diet choices. Things that are good to releave constipation without having a blender for me are eating pears or plums- they always do the trick. Lots of good clean fresh water is also good.

I'm curious how you would use spices in your raw foods.... any new ideas would be great! As for drinking herbs... it can be done completely raw, you just make sun tea. Put the herbs in water in a glass jar and set it in sunlight for a day or so....Viola!
