  1. And, take two!

    So I just kept eating more and more cooked food. Allowing it to take me down to the worst depths of food hell: bagels (for me at least). The consequences of which are painfully obvious to me....bloated stomach, depression, anxiety, forgetfulness, fear...and some biological stuff I'll spare you all having to do with my intestines being completely full of crap (literally!) that did not want to come out.

    I also fell off the yoga wagon. It seemed to all happen at once, and all of a sudden ...

  2. Day 14-16

    Well, I went to a powwow on the day 14 and ate some fry bread and a baked potato. I felt like I was constantly finding excuses to eat cooked food (to not be rude or whatever), so I decided to spend day 15 as an "all cooked" day to force it out of my system. It worked. I had toast, a vegan/gluten free toaster waffle, and an ethiopian dish. It was all wheat free and vegan. Anyways, I had all sorts of emotional problems I think as a result of it, and I was craving smoothies like no ones business. ...

  3. day 13-14

    WEll, day 12 went downhill after i posted. I sort of binged...even though really it wasn't that much cooked food i ate, i felt aweful. I had half a bagel, some cooked chocolate, tortilla chips, and some gluten free pasta. Then day 13 I had some "tings" and some tortilla chips and a bite of a burrito. I know where these things came from, and I still feel ok about my progress. Today I've come into some money so I can stock up on fruits and veggies. I'm soooooooo looking forward to it! ...

  4. Day 12!!!

    So yesterday again I had some brown rice. Today I'm going to aim for sticking to all raw because even though I'm allowed to eat brown rice in this transition, it seems superfluous and not necessary and actually somewhat unrewarding.

    Today I cleaned my house before I did anything. Then I ate a salad and half an avocado. Now i'm drinking water and am very content. I met a man yesterday who used to prepare food at an all raw restaurant in minneapolis and he gave me some tips...like ...

  5. day 11

    today i've had some serious food cravings, and almost gave in to a bagel/egg/cheese sandwich. But i remembered the pleasure is only temporary, and the illnesses last a long while. So i've stayed raw.

    Lastnight I drank some wine...i think alcohol is really bad for raw foodists, even if it's "raw" because it encourages impulsive behavior. My impulses are food related.

    I also haven't done yoga for a few days....need to take that back.
