Great news you got the job! It will be tough getting used to the 40 hour week, especially on top of everything else. Could be that as long as you continue to pick up the pieces for your relatives, they will let you.

Your eating very healthy. Keep taking good care of yourself. You are a valuble asset. :)

That's great your working. I know that must be somewhat of a relief for you.

I hope things get better with those girls. :eeks: Teenagers can be difficult to begin with without the other factors going on.

    I'm thinking about ya.

How frustrating your brother's choice must be for you! Children need guidance. We are not supposed to purposely let them hurt themselves to "teach them a lesson". Good grief. /parenting rant. :O

Sorry about your hair . I hope it improves soon (((hugs)))

My sister lives about 50 miles from us. Her kids have lived with my parents since they were born. Let's just say that both of my siblings live in their own worlds many times.

I have paid more than my dues but that is the story of my life. I always put others before myself ...I am not sure how to change that one. I think getting out of the house and working again is going to help my mind set - sure will take some of the worry off.

That's good news about the job. :) I know you probably shared it before. But, where is your sister? I feel for you with those kids. My goodness you really are the only Adult around.

I pray you will find a job soon.

I'm sorry about your family. (((hugs)))

I am learning about the Emotional Freedom Technique for myself and my son. It is helping my best friend with her anxiety & depression issues. She sent me to www.emofree.com ... I'll be writing about how/if it works for us, but you might want to check it out. The basics are free and easy to do.

L-theanine is wonderful for anxiety. It is an amino acid from green tea & works like a charm. I only take it when I am having an attack. Lifting weights has helped me a lot also.

And make sure to take some time to pamper yourself every day, even if it is only twenty minutes. Give yourself a facial, take a nice bubble bath, make a body scrub w/oils like lavender or grapefruit & enjoy how smooth you feel after. Get a pedicure if you can afford it (I just had my first one in a decade - wonderful!). You deserve it!

    Best wishes!

What a load you are carrying. It's amazing to see something so bizarre like this happening in someone's life. I am so perplexed. I mean, it's like watching a movie I've seen on tv, but I never knew it could happen in real life!

I am glad you have such support here. We continue to give you our ears and big hugs.....

aw, sorry sweetie! You don't deserve to be treated that way. Hopefully it will turn out for the best and you'll be able to start putting yourself first instead of them.

good for you for reflection on the circumstances and choosing to look for the positive!

I would love to send the oldest to boot camp- they have ones that are for kids that act out of control- perhaps then she would appreciate all that is done for her instead of being a hig brat.

You seem more grounded and calm with everything now. :)
I hope the recruiter calls you soon. It's so hard right now everywhere I guess, huh?

Kids.............You can't live with them and ya send them to boot camp! Hehehe!

LOL Knitster ...I have thought the same thing to myself over these past few weeks. That is why a part of me really can not blame him. Those 3 make me want to pull my hair out on a daily basis. Not fair for someone who has worked so hard all their lives to retire to be challenged with. Besides being lazy my brother has no other excuse for not working. My parents even spent a great deal of money to send him to a very good college (something my sister and I were not offered) which he never finished. I worked 2 jobs to help my parents pay off that second mortgage. The kids are my sisters but have always lived with my parents. I am used to my siblings being self centered and selfish that is the way it has always been, but never my parents. Out of all the people in the world my father could find it had to be someone who is ugly inside and out and a family member which in many states is illegal

Thank you ladies for your thoughts and support during this challenge.

There is a lot to deal with. I don't mean to make light of your situation, but I have to wonder if your Dad has really lost his sense of direction or if he has made his escape. ;)

It's so good you can share here and release it somewhere. Holding onto that would not be heathy for you. You have alot you are dealing with. My thought are with you.

    Your Juice sounds yummy! :)

Wow! That is a LOT to handle. Whew, I'm amazed you're able to stay sane through all of that. Good for you :)

I always feel bad for the dead animals. I live in the country so there are often times many deer, foxes, musk rats, racoons and possum dead along the road I know that some have to die but that just seems a horrible death.

I am back to juicing today and that seems to be going well. My body always shuts down when I am upset past my limit where it doesnt want anything for awhile and then it gradually gets back to normal. Not much different than the fasting that I normally do 4 times a year- this one was not really planned though
