Cold soup is considered a delicacy in many countries, even in some "fancy" restaurants here in the states... ;)

That is a little fact that my df (dear fiance ;) ) told me last night when I served him my new favorite DELICIOUS cold raw tomato soup...

So... think of what a FANCY diner you are eating your fabulous thai curry soup!!!

    Rawk on!!

Wow. Life got a hold of me again and I have not been back since the first time I blogged. I am so inspired to see that several people gave me support. I have not been able to go completely raw but have been about 80% raw on the days that I have not been 100% raw. Life has been really stressful. I was down on myself feeling like a failure but then realized in the middle of the night that I have just been facing challenges. I have not failed because I am still trying. Being raw is always on my mind. I am making the commitment to log on at least once a day. While I may not be able to make it 100% raw, I am 100% raw to the community. I will get there. I think the hardest thing is time and preparation. I travel every week with my job. It is super easy to be raw when I travel because I just go to whole foods and stock up on fruits and veggies and nuts. Home is the hardest. My husband will not eat raw and thinks it is silly. I at least cook vegan for him and he doesnt complain but my son is pretty much like him. My 1 year old daughter is mostly raw as well but it is so hard to make 2 different meals. Especially now that it is cold, piping hot sounds so good.

Anyways. For breakfast I had an avocado and a persimmon. The avocado was great but the persimmon left a funny texture in my mouth. Is this normal?

Thanks for all your kind words!!!
