This is my Nineveh!

It may sound crazy, but this is my Nineveh.

I know what I have to do to be healthy and fail only because I allow my own self doubt, self defeatism and fear of failure to stand in my way.

God told Jonah to basically get up and get your butt to Nineveh. Arise and go.

I know what I have to do to be healthy, I have the tools and the resources to conquer the illness this shell I live in has been struggling with for years.

I'm committed to 'Arise and go'. I'm removing the negative from my life and embracing the positive and each day is a success because I've chosen it to be.

  1. The Tennis Ball, the whatever.. and the home sick day...

by on 02-13-2010 at 10:43 PM (This is my Nineveh!)
We had interesting morning hours at Casa de Kitter today. Lets rewind to 24 hours ago....

One of our puppies, Bacon, had just ripped apart his tennis ball and eaten half of it, and .. well I wasn't feeling so great following my casadilla.

I'm almost through my transition down and this week it's good buy to the tortillas and the white meet. OH MY! .. and I think my body was trying to tell me something...

First things first, we woke up to a puking puppy ...

  2. And then he turned to me and said....

It's been a good "Monday" so far. We skipped our normal stop so I was without my salad or bananas today. This made me really sad, but I'm going pretty good. I had one cup of decaffeinated coffee so I got my coffee taste without caffeine.. not a good taste. Tomorrow is no coffee at all. Kinda twitchy over that no caffeine but the headache is still not there. /cheer

I'm so excited and thankful. There has been a lot of news that is great coming my way... Somelikeitraw's ...

  3. Transition Week 1 Comes to a close...

by on 02-09-2010 at 12:36 PM (This is my Nineveh!)
So my week, with today being my "Sunday" is coming to an end. Transitioning has been interesting. So far I've said goodbye to caffeine, red meat and most of the dairy family.

My starches have gone from plain white to whole wheat, and the caffeine headaches are beginning to subside.

This week we add another raw meal to the mix.. breakfast and lunch.. and also replacing the "sweet things" I drink. For example.. crystal light and wylers sugar free... ...

  4. A little less caffeine a little more imagination

by on 02-06-2010 at 11:12 PM (This is my Nineveh!)
I think the reason I have had such a hard with xeroxing in the past is that it wasn't just the food .... It was the caffeine to. *

I have been fighting horrible caffeine withdrawl complete with aches, headaches and more fatigue than normal. *I can also tell you that I am a little foggier than normL and that I am having a hard time concentrating.

My las detox was definitely worse than this, but that was the food too.

While making a move to high raw immediately ...

  5. Baby Steps..

by on 02-05-2010 at 08:10 AM (This is my Nineveh!)
It's been a rough couple months. I keep looking back at where I've been over the past decade as approach that looming birthday... you know.. the one where you celebrate the first anniversary of your 29th year?

Despite the setbacks, I have to focus on how far I've come and not on the negatives.

    The negatives:
    • My comphy size 10's (13 missies) are growing snugger.
    • My skin is back to being a horrible mess.
    • I'm loosing my sex drive
    • I'm feeling down and
