The puppies play with the birds. In the main house our hatchlings are allowed to come out and "play" while the hatcher and pen in the eggs room are tended to. Some of the babies are incredibly friendly and will love o have their necks scratched and to be cuddles. Some peck at your shows and like little kids want to play tag.

They're a lot of fun unless it's a blood draw for NPIP. Then we have to have an emu rodeo. And those birds are strong!

For the most part the dogs play with the birds as the birds and dogs have grown up around each other.

Why do you chase an emu?

Definitely downing a tone of water. I've always followed the rule of thumb half an ounce of water per pound at least .. so I drink a ton of water throughout the day. I normally clear my pair of 32 ounce bottles twice a day still. .. but ugh for my tummy still.

As to coconut, it's a favorite! I just have to get through the hump and head to the allergist and see if I can tolerate it again.

It is so strange how allergies effect you differently if you change how you life!

They've all had white meat. Some has been thicker and firmer than others. I don't like it when it's slithery :)
  6. Aleesha Sattva's Avatar
Ya, you want the meat to be firm. Not pink or grey...

coconut water if you want to treat yourself is very pampering; I bought 2 young coconuts this weekend. I like the meat too but I didn't at first. I think these two were slightly older so the meat was less jelly-like.

My hubby and I are looking at juicers now.. we'll see what we come up with!

Hmmm.. I may have to see if we can afford one. That's the big thing right now. Things are tight right now. :)

I'll let Aleesha talk about juicers. I'm not au fait with all the ins and outs of them all. I do like my champion which I got on Aleesha's recommendation

I don't have a reliable juicer. . But I think I may try to remedy that. I've never been on a juice fast before. What would I need to do that hardware wise? I have an amazing Ninja blender.

And I have to sell my husband on it as well. Though he shouldn't be a hard sell at this point.

Alesha & Mystic, I really hope so!

I have cystic overies and a lot of uterine scarring from a number of miscarriages earlier in life that resulted in a blocked tube. If things start working on their own that would be pretty amazing.

I am more than relieved that I went raw again verse the diet that my doctor was encouraging. Eating that much meat protein unless is was emu (it's weird... My family raises emu as livestock) I felt heavy, bloated and miserable, and I was always hungry!

Now, I feel full, satisfied after I eat and if I'm hungry I can make amazing tasty treats that are pretty much guilt free!

I'm checking out that link and have been reading to colonics thread. Getting rid of all the old stuck stuff could be a good thing but it sounds pretty scary!

Exactly what Aleesha said :)But also, the stress/pressure on you right now as being the person responsible for "fixing" the getting pregnant thing has a huge and detrimental effect on getting pregnant. Do you meditate? If not, I really recommend it and I bet Aleesha's bodytalk sessions would be immensely beneficial too.
