  1. Tomorrow is HS Reunion

    I've made it raw so far all day today and it is now 8 pm.

    I made a chili recipe using diced eggplant and zucchini and hubby made guacamole and veggie chips.

    Then I had a GS a few hours later.

    Now I am getting hungry again, so probably will make a big salad.

    Not really doing raw today because of the HS reunion, just worked out that way. I hope to get through the rest of the day raw! YEAH!

  2. Week Three

    I have been maintaining the high raw for three weeks now. Still haven't transitioned to doing a whole day yet. This will take some planning, and as anyone can see from my posts, I've been trying to glean as much info as I can to make a whole day's menu.

    And I am honest with myself and will not do it until I am ready, period.

    My headaches went away, my weight dropped by five pounds, and I actually enjoy the GSs.

  3. Two Week Mark

    I guess I am to the two week mark, already! I have not done a full day raw, but I can tell that things are getting easier to do raw in general.

    I do not make complicated meals, still searching for easier, mostly nut free entrees to try. I have raided the local library and taken all their raw books I can find.

    I can't eat sunflower seeds, flaxseeds, pumpkins seeds, or mushrooms due to the medical program I am on. And, I really want to avoid high seed meals anyhow for ...

  4. Day 10 or something like that..

    Today I had much less dizziness, so I was happy. I made a green smoothie with cilantro, apple, banana, and ginger. The ginger was too strong so I had to make another, this one of bok choy, swiss chard, grapes and cantaloupe, that one was very sweet!

    I took the rest of the cantaloupe, including the seeds, and blended them in the Vitamix. Added almond milk, and froze it now they are literally hard as ice in the freezer. Not exactly the ice cream effect I was looking for, but maybe after ...

  5. Day 7?

    I think today is day 7. Kinda lost track.

    Still feeling lightheaded and dizzy, so I went to fitday.com and inputted all my food for the day. Was about 1200 calories, and many nutrients were met. Fat was about 20 grams, protein 40, and fiber 35.

    I got some Lara bars at the store when I stocked up on veggies. Was supposed to get a delivery this week of organic fruits/vegs, but I couldn't wait, so had to get some at the grocery store. Sadly, my greens were all conventional ...
