  1. 21 days in on 30 Day Program

    This week has been harder with staying raw all day. I'm not sure why this is, mostly I'm still not satisfied with my dinner meal. I made an eggplant chili that was pretty good and had that a few nights, but then didn't plan anything else. And when dinner started coming around, I was bored, and didn't want was there. I love my green smoothies, love salads, just feeling a bit burnt out on those things.

    I'm going to hunt down some more recipes to support my goal of staying raw that ...

  2. Doing Raw for 30 Days

    I just wanted to let anyone who cares to read that going raw for 15 days now has shrunk my waist 2 inches, my chest 1.5 inches (hope that's back flab...), my hips 1 inch and my thighs 1/2 inch.

    I've been trying to walk a certain number of steps everyday.

    That's it.

    So, I am liking the raw, it's not too tough, and hubby likes my crackers and keeps asking for more.

  3. Stayed Raw for all 3 meals

    Stayed raw for all three meals. Made a nice raw marinara, but was less than thrilled with the zucchini which I sliced with a vegetable peeler. I really had to force myself to finish the bowl because the texture was off. I told hubby I know why raw people are skinny, they just can't take in the volume! I mean, if I had regular pasta, I could have easily had 3 bowls, and barely made it through one small bowl of the zucchini pasta.

    I'll keep trying so that I have interesting entrees ...

  4. Burning Flesh

    I tried posting this last week, and it never took.
    Last week I went to a fundraiser and the main dish was chicken. The smell of chicken for 300 people was so overwhelming, I had to leave the building twice.

    It made me almost vomit. Then I felt sorry for the people who couldn't smell the death and who were programmed, for lack of a better word, to enjoy it. I had to start dialing people in my cell phone just to keep me outside and concentrating on other things. Although I have ...

  5. 30 Day Raw Program

    Been following a 30 day raw program I found called BES, Body Enlightenment System. It meets many of the needs I had for going raw, such as a shopping list and daily recipe preparation. Pretty easy to follow.

    Stress levels have been high due to loss of grandma and other family issues I wish didn't exist.

    I have started walking more and am going to hunt down my hand weights......

    Hmm...almost have a plan, scared to think what might happen! Ha ha!
