Jen--I have horrible cheese cravings! So, I try not to make cheese-based meals for Mr.L. The other food I can't not eat is peanut butter. I don't even have it in the house. Knitster--I just am one of those people who likes most everything. It's a blessing and a curse! ;)

Good planning. I'm cooking for my family, too. If I'm eating a salad I always share. The thought of putting their warm, mushy food on my tongue is gross. ;)

That's pretty simple and easy I'd say. Alot of it is actually Raw, too. :)

My hubby is not Raw and I cook for him. Yesterday I made him Grilled Cheese and Nachos. Didn't even want any. It's funny cuz, nachos was a stable in my diet for a very long time. I'm over cheese though. Don't even want it. Wish I could say the same for deserts.

    LOL!

Oh, how sad! Deer are so beautiful. Why anyone in their right mind would want to kill and eat one is beyond me.

I don't know how you were able to collect anything after seeing that. You are stronger then I. I am such a germaphob. Ask hubby.........I'm paranoid about parasites too!

That is sad Emma-Liza . I'm a germaphobic too - very particular about things I touch/smell/etc. - you're not alone on that one. I'm glad you found some art pieces to use~monk~

For decades, there was no deer hunting on the 4000+ acre ranch that surrounds the barn where I board my horse. It was a working cattle ranch, breeding and other activities, and they couldn't afford the possibility of a stampede or of accidentally killing a cow or calf. Now it's been sold to a developer and he lets his family hunt deer. I don't even dare trail ride even in the nonhunting areas till the season is over.

Awww that makes me sad too. We have lots of deer where I live - they are such delicate and graceful creatures.

I feel in your words what your going through, and I do know that feeling. Worrying about our parents aging and taking good care of ourselves at the same time....I couldn't do it. Sure wish I had. When my Mom got sick I stopped caring about my health. You'd think it would make us take better care of ourselves!

As I wrote a few minutes ago to Jen, loving and forgiving ourselves makes it easier to take good care of ourselves. But, you know that. ;)
