    Caution: There is discussion/description of cooked food in this post, which might not be comfortable for some. I only mean to offer a bit of help to the dilemma of what to fixed in a "mixed" household that is quick, tasty to the cooked food eaters, and not overly tempting to the raw foodist. Your list may vary, but maybe there's something new or helpful here....

  2. Taco double duty meal

    Posting quickly before I pop off to bed!

    Mr.Liza and I shared some walnut taco meat and a great guacamole style salad.

    My taco meat was excellent crumbled over some leftover dehydrator-marinated portabello strips. I didn't have enough mushrooms, so I also used a few sweet peppers. (Love those!) I put my plate in the dehydrator about 30 minutes to warm everything. Amazing how even the peppers taste sweeter from just getting slightly warm!

  3. Salad double duty meal

    This is not a recipe, but it was just too beautiful not to mention!

    For both us:
    bed of herb mix
    olive oil
    whole tomato, cut into wedges and arranged like a flower

    I got 1/2 avocado, sliced and tucked into the tomato wedges,
    Mr.Liza got a large scoop of one of his favorite prepared vegetarian salads (no names mentioned, in case of triggering :) ) as the center to his tomato flower

    Over both plates I grated carrot, scattered ...

    Okay, Phedre, here are some of my double duty meals!

    Just to preface, Mr.Liza likes smaller meals and lighter foods than a lot of guys do. He loves peppers, pickes, olives, spices, and ethnic foods of all kinds. He prefers a vegetarian (though not necessarily vegan) diet.

    1. Pad Thai Sauce (LOLF)

    I fixed this for myself per LOLF, with bean sprouts and zucchini "noodles" and some fresh cilantro.
