  1. Day 5 of .... 5 of green smoothies :D

    Today was my fifth, and I've decided, my last day of all green smoothies. I've decided to cut it off a few days early, but I'm still proud of my progress. I'm ending it early for several reasons. I think I may have jumped into it too fast in my raw progress. I am losing weight a little faster than I think is probably healthy and I feel pretty weak. I don't want to be more damaging to my body :) Also, I think it's making me hate raw foods because I am not enjoying any of these darn scheduled ...

  2. Day 4/7 of green smoothies

    Over half way through my personal challenge for 7 days of green smoothies!

    For breakfast this morning I had a delicious fresh fruit juice with pineapple, watermelon, grapes, strawberries, romaine, and mango. So good!

    Lunch was my left over smoothie from yesterday that I didn't like at all and I claimed I was going to throw out, but then I decided to re-smoothie it and I added more stuff and it turned out fine. I'm confused by this drink because technically I think ...

  3. Day 3/7 of green smoothies

    Today was really hard on me and it's my own fault. Yesterday I noticed myself struggling to eat when I was hungry. And not just a little hungry, like big, super famished hungry. Instead, I avoided food completely and took a nap. I knew this was going to be a problem for me and I vowed to eat when hungry for today!

  4. Day 2/7 of green smoothies

    Day 2, completed! I'm kinda getting ready for real food again. Part of the reason I was so interested in doing just green smoothies for a week was because I was fed up trying to make raw recipes that took me forever, seemed to dirty every dish in the house, and didn't really come out tasting all that good to me. But now, I'm ready to try some again, hahaha :) I miss avocado... and onion... Mmm...

  5. The end of day 1, all green smoothie :)

    For dinner, my husband wanted to go out and get food from one of my favorite Chinese buffets. It's a cool buffet because they allow you to take out food also. They charge by the pound, and it's actually pretty cheap. I am committed to my green smoothies but this seemed like it was going to be a bigger challenge than I was ready for. I went with him to get the food and everything smelled soooo good. So I allowed myself to look and smell and drool but then not put any of that ick into my body. ...
