  1. raw for the 2nd time!

    Today I am so happy i want to jump for joy! (or do yoga:-) for lunch I picked 3 ripe tomatoes I had grown on on the terrace! Sooo yummy in my guacamole soooo cool but you know whats even cooler? i made raw potato chips (from the book) AND MY MOTHER WAS EATING THEM UP! hah

    now making honey banna chips (or banna bread haha!)

    ALSO framed my chef certificate :) :) :) Have put it over my yoga/shrine to remind me to keep on going, eating my power, opening up ...

  2. First ALL RAW DAY! *And a question!*

    So it has been a week now since I took my raw food class. I have been incorperating more fruits and veggies into my diet. I have not had any cheese or meat. And now- a week later:

    I HAVE FINISHED MY FIRST ALL RAW DAY!!!

    It feels great:) And...I received my Living on Live Food Chef (level 1) Certificate in the mail today! Family didnt get it- but who cares! So stoked!

    Today I had:
    Medjoolie (sp?) dates
    2 lara bars
    celery + salsa ...

  3. I have a VERY special tomato!

    OOOO I just remembered my nearly ripe big red tomato growing in my garden!!!!

    Can not WAIT to pick it!!.. I am very lucky to have one with all this scary salmonella yickity yuck going on

  4. Day 2,3 and 4

    So I had my college transfer orientation this week and drove down to Ny. (I am majoring in writing with a minor in wellness!!) Ate about a million Lara Bars in the car (I like the lemon and lime ones the best-mum likes em too!) Also raw coconut acai type bars. Bought fruit for breakfast and ate large beautiful salads for dinner. Ofcourse having to drive 6 hours I had to allow myself my usual "starbucks unsweetened ice coffee with soymilk" (so high maintence to order I laugh) My mother ...

  5. First Day!

    Yesterday I went to my Raw food chef certification class! It was super exciting. We learned how to make lots of yummy treats (my favorite being the raw blueberry cheesecake) I love the fruits and veggies but am not sure how I feel about the flax/ grain dehydrated crackers. I had a storebought raw pizza once when I had a bad migrane and think the crackers sort of taste as nasty as that- anyway I hope to experiemnt making my own sort once I have my dehydrater!
