Oooooo, I think you'll like the mobi. And can you post your recipe for the flat bread? That sounds so good!

Have your tried hands and knees pelvic tilts for your back pain? My last two I had almost NO back pain because I did tons of pelvic tilts from almost day 1. And the hands and knees might get that baby's head off your poor spine a bit. Sending labor vibes!

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that you are so uncomfortable. Hope everything goes smoothly for you and your new baby when he or she says "it's just getting too cramped in here - let me out!" Mine were all 3wks late! Glad you got some yummy food made for yourself.

    Sue.

in other news I did manage to make some stuff this morning. I have my mushrooms marinating and they will be headed to the dehydrator soon, and I also made some tomato flat bread so I can see some yummy sandwiches in my future. Hopefully they will be ready for supper! Yum!! I may even make some flaxseed crackers in a bit. So this is progress.

Thanks! That is good advice, some I have never heard before. I think it would be easier to endure if I were not so uncomfortable and in so much pain. The last few weeks of pregnancy are always very difficult for me because I have such bad back pain the whole time. No matter what position I am in I can not get comfortable, standing, sitting, laying down, walking, it all hurts. So that is a big reason for my frustration and my eagerness to have the baby.

I don't know if you have ever heard this advice, but it helped me soooooooo much when I was in those waiting days. (four of my six were late, like 8-17 days late). Someone told me, "This might be the last day of this babe's life that you are being a perfect mother. Once it is born, you will no longer be perfect. You will make mistakes, get impatient, not be all you need to be for this babe. But right now, the babe is being perfectly fed, is perfectly warm, and its every need is being met perfectly by you." That really helped me to enjoy those last days!

Oh I LOVE LOVE LOVE my midwife. I am thrilled for you to have found one you can trust and that she feels good to be around. You are going to have a fabulous birth, and congratulations in advance. Relax and breathe. Just breathe, that is all that is required of you. What an exciting challenge you have before you.

Hey, I did this with my last pregnancy, every night 4-6 hours of contractions and then when morning came they stopped. There was nothing "false" about it.....the only difference between it and the "real thing" was that it finally just kept going and I had a baby. I even kept losing my plug those five days, so I know it was doing something. I have heard that the more children you have, the more common the stop and start thing is, but when it finally kicks in it will go fast.

    Thank you,
The past few months have been really crazy so I am very happy that things are settling down now. Now I can just focus on eating healthy, homeschooling my little ones and getting ready for this baby! Thanks for checking in on me. :)

Hi, there, I have read your posts in the past and wondered about you. I am a homeschooling mom of six also, though one is now in college. Wow, you have a lot on your plate. I hope it all gets sorted out. Hope you have a wonderful birthday and a wonderful birth.

Oh, does your post ever bring back memories of all the times I've done the same thing! Yes, those seductive and addictive foods seem wonderful at the beginning. Then it quickly descends into pain. But, as Jen has said, the pain part is so easily forgotten in the temptation. I think it won't be like that "this time". I try to pay attention to the process so I can learn something and hopefully not do it to the same extent again. And I've been finding lately that lots of green smoothies do indeed give me a little more breathing space to resist those SAD cravings the next time.

I heard (from another member on this board) of a book that's about why these foods seduce us: The Pleasure Trap, by Douglas J. Lisle and Alan Goldhamer.

One other thing that could help your body flush things out a bit later (when you feel you can move more) is some gentle exercise.

    More hugs to you!

Oh do I know the feeling as you know I do. I think it is so Imperative that we remember just how "SICK WE FEEL WHEN WE EAT SAD!" Because, it's the forgetting that causes the allowance of the relapse. At least it is for me. I forget that coffee makes me jumpy and itchy and I gain weight instantaneously! What?

I think your body is telling you what you need and I would just listen to that. Unfortunately, I kinda think it's gotta run it's course. You can do the juice and maybe even an enema. But, it's still gotta go through the system. I would make sure you drink lots of water and probably lots of lemon water too!

    ))))))))))))))))))))HUGS to YOU!((((((((((((((((((((

    some juice sounds wonderful.
    some sunlight
    some meditation

if you can get the time, spend some time alone in nature.

you've been going through some heavy anxiety lately. the anxiety is the problem, what you ate is just the reaction to the problem.

    nap?

    Hugs for you! xoxo
