I've had one pink coconut out of hundreds. The produce man told me not to use it, it's a type of mold that affects coconuts. Did you get yours at the same store? If not, it's still possible they all came from the same supplier. Don't throw them out, return them and get your money back, and demand some fresh ones. Keep them refrigerated and use within 2 weeks.

Caffeine withdrawal periods can vary. But I'm not one to give advice about that, as I don't want to give it up just yet. My past experience with raw was that after several months I simply lost my desire for coffee. I'm hoping it happens that easily this time, too. Dr. Perricone says that just giving up coffee will release 10 pounds! Hope he's right.

IF you have no problems with cacao (like caffeine), then you can try this:
    Chocolate Smoothie by Rawkincake -
1c water, 2 frozen bananas, 1 heaping Tbsp. raw cacao powder, 1 Tbsp. coconut oil, 1 squeeze Agave or Stevia (optional), 1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional), 5 ice cubes. Blend! I love it and should try it again too instead of the poison. I have even added greens to this and it was still great.

Hello allisonbb. I have the same problem with coffee although it only takes me about 3 days to get rid of the headache and I have to use Tylenol 1 (with codeine) to be able to endure the pain. I am back drinking the yummy stuff again. How foolish, as I was off it for a while. But I so love it in the a.m. when I do my reading. This post to be continued...........:)
