This is an uplifting entry. Congratulations on your progress! Funny how we sometimes sink back into patterns...it's good to be alert to that.

I had a hard time giving up my 1 cup of coffee in the mornings as well - but I ended up switching to a chai tea instead - at first I still wanted my coffee, but now I don't even give it a second thought~ All in due time like you said~Have a great day! P.S. Great exercise & congrats on the 10#'s released~

Good for you - with deciding on one thing for last night & the rest for today! You should take a picture of your eyes to see if they do change - I did that for future reference. I have gotten a couple comments on my eyes being brighter - one was from a complete stranger - I had told a bit about raw & she said she wondered if I was a vegetarian or something because of my clear eyes! Wow - pretty cool.

Lemon could be good, but I love sweet. Loved the dip. I cheated though. While my cashews were soaking I went to PCC (organic grocer) and found a new product, raw cashew butter. Added water until it was dip consistency, mixed in the dill and herbamare. It was good! (Put my soaked cashews in the fridge. Will make a coconut-cashew creme tomorrow to have with my papaya for breakfast). Thanks for the dip tip.

The dill dip is a little on the sweet side for me, I think a little lemon juice might make it better. Let me know what you think~

I'll bet your a very busy person. I tend to eat less when I'm to active to spend time in the kitchen. Looked up the dill dip. I love cashews! Think I'll go soak some now.

Those sound like good goals! I have been flying by the seat of my pants in the planning area. Last night I had carrot sticks with Alissa's dill dip - not exactly what I would've wanted, but I was starving & it was what I had....Good luck to you!

Wow you were in a challenging circumstance and did great. I'm not so sure I would've been able to pretend at this stage, but you just never know what social circumstances will bring your way. I think your idea is a good one to bring a salad or share a raw dish that you prepare. It sounds like your host was gracious and will also understand your food choices. We sometimes project our fears onto others, usually discovering we were worrying for nothing! Warm hugs.

Sounds like you did great with the circumstances! You will LOVE Alissa's book - I think I read it in 2 days. I will also be trying the alfreddo recipe - let us know what you think of it. Have a lovely day~

You're welcome! I was going to post on your other journal entry this morning, but didn't have time & when I got to it you had a new one up! You sound like a very put together lady that has all the strength she needs to succeed~

Sounds like a great plan! Being positive from the get go really helps put things in focus & focusing on health and healing makes it easier to pass up things that aren't to our highest good. Great Job~
