  1. Brownies for breakfast?

    9:30 am

    I'm home from work today because I woke up in the middle of the night with a tummy bug and I still wasn't feeling well when I woke up for work. So instead of worrying about it at work I figured I should stay home, close to the bathroom.

    So I just prepared the ingredients to make burritos for lunch that was inspried when I saw this YouTube video; Raw Living Burrito by Chris Watts. Somebody else had posted it here but I don't remember in wich thread ...

    I have been in a funk for the last week. I don't know why because I started off so good, then the second week I did good and then this week, uggggggggggggh this week has been aweful. I have been up and down with raw then non raw and back to raw. I don't understand why I'm struggling because I want this like nothing else. So why do I sabotage myself? I don't know but I need to find the answer so I can be successful with this.

  3. Spring has sprung?

    So yesterday was the first day of spring and today it is soooooooooooo cold and windy! Uh ok, this doesn't feel like spring to me. LOL You gotta love New England huh?

    Well, I can't wait for the nice weather to appear so I can get out and start working in my yard. My little garden fairys are patiently waiting to be surrounded by the beautiful flowers of the season.

    1:30 pm

    This morning I didn't eat as much as I should but work was really busy and I only had an apple mid morning then a handful of nuts here and there.

    But, I'm eating the salad I made for lunch (pictured in last nights entry) and omigod it is better then it looks!!!!!! This has got to be the best salad I have ever had. I know it's nothing complicated but just the mixture of veggies and the orange/tahini dressing.......it's too good for words.

    I have to admit, I did aweful today. For some reason I've been struggling since yesterday. I think subconciously I'm frustrated for not losing much my second week even though I try not to. I really need to focus on the good things I eat and not the bad things.

    That being said, I just made myself a huge salad for lunch tomorrow and it looked so good that I had to have a little bit now even though it's 11pm. LOL I never eat so close to bed but I just had to have little bit.
