ah ha! I am back! I was expecting my isp to disconnect for changes that we requested, just not in the middle of my post to you! Sorry. Looks like some of your foods are quite limited. I would start by making a list of every thing that you can have. Then make sure you have all on hand that you can for greater variety. Can you list the things for us that you know you can have so maybe we can help you to be creative with them?

OK !!! whew...good....I really do look forward to reading what you are going through....I emailed you too!!! But maybe you are right, especially with the IC, your body may not be ready for 100 percent Raw. I saw that website you sent too...I even talked to my dh about it...lots to learn huh?!!

No I will still come back here. I intend to still be very high raw, just probably not 100%. The premise of the other diet is also very healthy, high raw so I see that I can incorporate both styles, at least for now. Maybe at some point I will decide to go 100%.

Oh I hope it all works out for you...will you journal elsewhere???

No, I don't beat myself up over the slip up. I think for me at this point I want to eat healthier and I am in the process of learning all I can about several different diets and then deciding what is best for me.

I do eat so much better than I was before RAW. Even if I don't ever get 100% I know I am benefitting from it. There are pros and cons to this diet and I am understanding them more everyday.

Awesome! Avos are so good for you. I struggle with them at times too. I find a good indicator is taste. When they taste really "earthy" and strong to my tongue I know I should pass. When they taste light I do much better. Weird, I know, but it seems to work for me. :)

Well I think there might be hope for avocado's! I made a big green salad for supper tonight and decided to try avo again. So far no flare. I am really thinking it was the previous mentioned supplement doing it. I mashed up the avo with olive oil and added sea salt and pepper for a great dressing!

    I am excited about this!
