Mmmm, I'm guessing the water rentention is related to the kidneys to help you filter out the water that your body is holding onto. Research on the type of raw food, herbs, and any type of juice that will be helpful for the kidneys to flush the water in your body and to balance it out is what came to mind after I read your post. I know that Barley Grass is one of them and cranberries too. There's more but can't recall it right now.
I've experience that the chi machine and walking is great for supporting the circulation in my body.
    Wishing you the best!

I put a little agave and sometimes raw chocolate. Creamy chocolate milk.

Congratulations Tracey!! I know just that feeling, because preparedness makes ALLL the difference. I am totally feeling you in this post :)

I have never even thought of making or trying sunflower seed milk...is it just like almond milk except subbing for sunflower seeds or do you omit vanilla or anything?

Sorry for lack of paragraphing. I'm on mobile phone and I can't get the return key to register!

This forum has always been problematic. Maybe not when it very first started but certainly since I've known it. It has a large membership of very different people and it also has very strict posting rules - although some people seem to be allowed to post things that others would be pulled up on.we don't all get on in life so we won't all get on together online. Often times things typed on a forum seem worse than when said in real life because they don't come with tone, body language, facial expression etc. A lot of posting gets mis interpreted.

I'm glad. It's easy to forget about taking on plenty of water. Need some myself just now bur not sure there is any. Don't want to have to fetch any.

Yes so much thank you. Hydration seems to be the key.

Hope you are all feeling better now.

That would make sense everybody around me is very sick.

you may have a virus ... not everything is detox. I am a little sceptical of detox in the sense that most people talk about it. I know lots of people suffer bad reactions but I think that is withdrawal rather than detox. Detox is a word bandied about without much understanding in my view and many people who are eating a healthy diet don't like to admit they have picked up a virus.

Yes Vitamix. Its the best even the popcicles where yummy. I can't get enough of it. I do cut it and put it in the fridge. I use cold melon with a little bit of water to get it going. I am loving my vitamix so much right now. I tried it with grapes but not so good for me. I would rather eat them. Enjoy.

OOOHHH!!! Watermelon w/ Lemon sounds fantastic! You said blended, so I'm assuming in a Vitamix? I'm gonna try that!!! Thx!!! :)

Glad you feel great, juicing is a great way to feel energized... The highest quality nutrients are found in juice dieting. I am currently drinking smoothies in place of my breakfast and lunch. That way I can see my abs once again..

I know what you mean... I have noticed the same thing, it's actually put me off posting altogether..
I think it should come down to sharing information and personal experiences in a way to enlighten each other and provide a space for learning and encouragement.. Like Goodcat said :)

Yes.. I agree. I've been trying to address that more. I'll continue since we do want these boards to be encouraging and helpful..

Hey there I am in the same boat as you. Around the same weight as well. It's hard with the stresses life throws at you, but what Juli said is right... what matters is that you are back. Don't kick yourself, congratulate yourself for knowing where you should be. You aren't giving up and you are pushing through. You're going to be fine!
